My situation is roughly the same as Ed in Harbor Oaks, Michigan (see report # 292646). I asked to receive the $ 1.95 diskette which suggested an ability to make money with Google. It never occurred to me that Raven Media could use Google's logo and name without a licensing agreement or that Google attorneys had not vetted this company.

When I received $ 39.95 charges in December (and again in January) I attempted to contact the company using their phone number only to be put on an extended hold. Eventually I was transferred to voice mail and made my feelings perfectly clear in this matter and asked for a call back. None was received. I also sent an email to their customer service email address and received no response.

I have now asked my bank to initiate the process to make me whole.

After reading the cited report on RipoffReport, I tried to find out more about Raven Media by googling the domain of employee Ryan R. who offered a resolution to Ed's complaint. His domain, wskc.org, shows little of nothing online, and when I got to www.wskc.org, I am taken to a screen emblazoned with www.megapr0n.com. That in turn leads to ?????

I'll be asking for written text before doing business with any other online firms and I think someone needs to investigate how so many bright folks keep getting ripped off online.

First and foremost I would like to offer my sincerest apologies to Marc for the difficulty he has had in reaching our customer service department. Due to the holiday's we had been experiencing a much higher call volume, causing technical issues with our phone system. Those issues have now been resolved and you should have absolutely no trouble getting through at this time. The number for customer service is 866-396-5695. The hours of operation are 9 am - 9 pm Eastern Time.

I have verified that Marc has been contacted and his account was resolved to his satisfaction. If you are another customer reading this and you need to reach customer service, the phone number and hours are above.

If our support staff fails to offer the quality and professionalism that we expect them to provide then I would personally like to know about it so that I can resolve the issue so that it doesn't continue to happen. I also guarantee to personally see to it that anyone who has had a negative experience with our staff or company is satisfied.
