Its a shame because I look up this guys name and found out that he was a crook. The bad part is that it looks like hes getting a lot of business. If he wants DJ money he should just be a DJ.

Anyway I answered an ad last week for a sweet 16 dj in cedar rapids for this past saturday. He sent the contract I signed it and he told me he would give me the client info, this. Saturday came along and no one contacted me includling him. The gig was for 7pm. After tenitively making new plans I got a call at almost 2pm from the client asking if I was djing her party. I said yes, that I had been waiting for a call. Anyway I rocked the party. I even took my video projector set-up for spinning videos.

After completing the gig I try to contact Mr. Ron Beam and he's vanished into thin air. He asked before I signed the contract if I wanted to be paid by check or paypal. I said paypal 5 days later no answer or contact. I've called and sent emails.

Decided to look up this guy and found all the complaints for his old company as Dj Ronnie. Well Beware he has a new site.

I've filed a theft report tonight with the Cedar Rapids Police dept. And my lawyer Keith West will be filing a civil suit in Illinois. We're going to contact his internet domain and get this ripoff website shut down. Guess this guy didn't know I was from Chicago, so he made the mistake of shitting in his own backyard.

I as a Dj apologize for all the people getting ripped off by guys like Beam. I never knew this kind of nonsense was going on. I guess some guys will do anything for a buck.
