Received letter (no return address) stating I had won a 250k 'COMPENSATION DRAW' held for all the 'ONETIME sweepstakes participants in the last five years. Drawing was supposedly held on June 15th 2007 by the SWEEPSTAKES ASSOCIATION OF NORTH AMERICA.

Had claim # info. and stated that an entry slip with a serial # was attached to my name and drew lucky numbers indicating that I was entitled to $250,000 payable to me by certified check and would be delivered to me by their special courier company.

Was advised to contact my assigned claims agent Larry Smith @604-720-1556 Mon-Sat...8am-6pm Pacific standard time for further instructions how to claim my big winnings. Enclosed was a check for $4980.00 to pay the Non Resident Government Tax of $3800, payable to my tax agent, Candy Brown 976 7th Ave. St. John NF Canada, by Moneygram. Letter was signed ..John Garfield, Promotions Manager, with an 'APPROVED' and 'FINAL NOTICE' stamp below his name.

They are warning people of a fake check scam that happens to have an alleged business name attached to it.

The Law Permit Auto Title pawn comps

They can charge you 25% a month on the amount you borrow, on $2000 that would be $500 a month, if you have been only paying 200 a month then the balance of $2300 each month is added another 25% back the next month $2875 that you now owe them, if you then go that month and just pay $200 than you are not going to ever get the loan payed off it will just keep growing and growing
until it would be very hard to pay off.

That is where they get you they really don't want your car, they want your money!!
