My father-in-law purchased two of their travel packages July of 2016. Each travel package cost $3400. With each travel package you get a seven day cruise for 2 and 1week stay at a resort for 2 people. Unfortunately he passed away six months later. RCI travel will not refund your money plus if you do not use the packages within two years you lose the certificate. RCI did offer to buy back the resort package $1300 each but they make you buy another package for $3400. Plus it is not a refund it is money that they hold onto that you can use for hotel or airfare. When you do go to use the certificate they tax on a fees. They advertise it as a free seven week resort but it’s not. I want to inform people to watch out for the RCI travel packages. RCI travel packages take your money. You do not get the benefit that they claim.

I bought a package with RCI travel have been a member of RCI for 16 YEARS. Ever since Wyhdam took it over it has been horrible. I bought a cruise for December for my daughter. As far as I know it is legit. But their quarterly specials as advertised are a lie. You call the number and they transfer you and put you on hold for 20 minutes then tell you.. You need to talk to someone else transfer you again and you are on hold for 20minutes..literally none of their people can book the quarterly special you are calling about. They lie. I tried for 5 hours to book a quarterly special one of them actually found bilut couldn't book. Wyhdam as a hole is not an honest corporation and ruins everything they buy.
