rc&me hobbies Took my money I got nothing El Paso, Texas

I found RC & Me through a search on the web. I wanted to purchase a ready to fly helicopter. No one in my area offered this service.

I called and spoke with Tim the owner and he assured me that he was reputable and would deliver a quality product and that he had done this before many times.

I ordered an $1800.00 helicopter from RC & Me on 11/06/2009 on their website and never got anything (invoice number 508).

He charged my Master Card immediately and I was told that it would take three months to build the heli, which put me outside the credit card protection time window.

After eight months of back and forth with excuses sayin my helicopter was almost completed I asked for a refund.

Tim has given me a litany of excuses as to why he has not given me a refund. I don't live in Texas making it difficult to sue him. I am a doctor and believe in the basic good in people.

RC and Me took my money and gave me nothing but excuses and as of 10/27/2010 a year later I have not received a refund nor have I recieved the heli.

I believe that this man may have done this to many people. Yes he fooled me doctor's are easy, I trusted him but I believe that he has fooled others too.

I've seen people like him in my practice. I feel he done this before probably making more money through fraud than legitimate means.

He probably keeps it small so as to stay under the radar. He has the perfect venue the web. I wouldn't be surprised if his fraudulent totals aren't large. He needs to be stopped.
