ReBath David (owner) Remodeled a shower without the actual home owners approval at a ridulous price Altamonte Springs Florida

I would give this company a 0 is that was possible. I have called them 3 times and was told the owner Dave would call me and he still hasn't. Complaint Description: Re-Bath completed a shower upgrade without the permission of the actual home owner including liening the property. My husband requested Re-Bath to come out and give him an estimate to redo his very tiny shower. They gave him an estimate of $7K??? I could have done this upgrade using Home Depot for about $1K. Right after getting this estimate he was in the hospital diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal brain cancer. His sister was staying at his house and decided to get this done using ReBath without his or my, his wife, permission. She signed the contract although she has NO ownership in his house. He is the sole owner and the only one to authorize this purchase. Neither one of us knew this was happening as he was in surgery and I was at the hospital with him. What company would let someone besides the homeowner sign a contract to do home improvements especially while he was incapacitated. Your Desired Resolution: I would like to get this price of $7K reduced. I redid my bathroom which is much larger and with high end products for $8K. There price is ridiculous and Mike never would have had ReBath perform this service.
