As soon as I walked into the run down scattered 1960's showroom, I should have walked right back out. We made the appt. the price was $6,000 for a thin plasstic sheet of wall. They couldn't answer our questions, and the ones they did ask were uncomfortable and too personal! Stay away

Ripoff Report does a good job

AUTHOR: Ripped off vet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 17, 2010

I have found that people seldom cry out over good reviews, even if they are unwarranted or purely the creation of the business owner.  There could be ex employee who have an axe to grind but that can not be the case each time unless you have a number of ex employee each with an axe to grind which in itself is an indication of a troubled business.  You may not know what the Lanham act is about but you can  not used a trade marked name even if it is a complaint with a lawyer writing you a strongly worded letter.  That makes it difficult to complain or warn other about these businesses if you can  not use their name.  My advice to any of these thin skinned business owners is seek out another line of work if you can't stand honest complaints.

ReBath of North Jersey great company!!!

AUTHOR: Brian - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 23, 2009

First of all Rip off Report is a complete joke. This is a site that was created to blackmail companies not to help consumers. There may be some validity to some posts, but most posts are posted to degrade, slander and humiliate people and companies. These posts are usually created by ex-employees, unstable relationships, company competitors, etc. Rip Off Report victims spend thousands of dollars to have their report removed from Google, which for some reason the rip off report ALWAYS RANKS FIRST ON GOOGLE.
False posts and slanderous comments are to be ignored on this site. There is no credible sources here. If you want a good source for consumer reviews go to The Better Buisness Bureau web site or Consumer Reports. Rippoff Report.com is only a clever way to make money off of false comments made by false users. I would not be surprised to see a rebuttal to this comment with in a few days, trying to contradict me.
And if you are curious like I was just research ripoffreport.com and all of the complaints out about them on the web.

New owner has terrible business sense.

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 20, 2009

If this is the same person "Nicole" she tried to sell a family member a bathroom system for over $4,000. After doing research they bought the same system for $1,650.
They have the same canned sales pitch to lure you into buying a over priced product.
Do your homework before you buy from this company! Good advice from a earlier comment. Never and I mean Never buy the same night they come to your home.
They called them alot and kept dropping the price. lol
Old owner was smart to sell.

#11 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Under New Ownership

AUTHOR: Nicole - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, February 15, 2009

Cathy,
As I understand, you have been posting comments about Re-Bath of North Jersey. As a former employee and now owner of this establishment I would like to clear the air. First of all, I do not have record of a client with the first name Cathy who lives in Randolph NJ. Secondly, the person who has posted under the name pudgy was a former employee who moved due to a death in the family in order to take care of his mother in-law. So, perhaps you should do some research before you start making slanderous remarks about people and their employment history. He is a successful man who still works for the company in the franchise location nearest his location. Thirdly, Re-Bath is a remodeling business. The choice of location was made due to the fact that there is a large warehouse in the back of our building. Being that we install over 1,500 units a year, our top priority is to have ample room to sufficiently house our clients materials along with stock items. Due to the fact that we offer free in home consultations, along with the design your bathroom feature on-line, many of our customers do not feel the need to take a trip down to the showroom. However, we welcome all whom wish to do so.

POSTED: Thursday, July 31, 2008

Cathy I think you have some axe to grind or why you are so bent on something that never happened .Rebath has been very successful with over 1 million happy references in all kinds of buildings. You do not deserve a reason for my leaving but I will give you one. I retired and relocated to a less populated area where people all get along. Pudgy

Inside Info

AUTHOR: Mike Anton - (U.S.A.)

The system cost is $900.00. They inflate selling price to $5,500 and give a coupon for $500 off. There mark-up is way overinflated. The product is just ok. They make you sign that night. So if you buy the total system for around $1500 I think that would be fair. Tell them you are ready to buy ASAP so they will come and give you a demonstration. But always shop around. Never buy the same night they visit you. Never. They will call you week after week with a lower price.

I couldn't really care less.

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 16, 2008

Just pointing out your unnecessary need to try and embellish your tale by being disingenuous about their place of business when in fact all the buildings along that street are ancient an many are eyesores. When in fact the building has absolutely nothing to do with how they conduct business. If that were the case, that would be a barren street.

Bad Business Choice

AUTHOR: Cathy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 16, 2008

The building comment really hits a nerve with you, truth hurts. Next time sign a lease in a respectable building in a respectable part of town. Shows you how much the owner really cares about his customers! Now I will tell my entire Morris County mothers association about how this company and its employees work. Also I will be filing a report with the BBB.

Slanderous vague accusation with no specific information

AUTHOR: Pudgy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 24, 2008

I am a former employee of Re-Bath and can say from a first hand look that it looks like a set up. The entire staff are professional trained in product knowledge as well as personal and professional selling skills. The products that they sell are manufactured in the good old USA by hard working Americans. The owner of the franchise is a 3rd Generation Plumbing Supplier with indisputable knowledge and integrity. I know from personal knowledge that everyone from the office manager to the installers and clerical staff go above and beyond to give customers value for there money.

Last but not least a complete remodel of the show room is in its final stages with the latest and most up to date products for your bathrooms,I guess thats what Cathy was refering to in her letter. I am sure the people of North Jersey Re-bath would welcome any one to visit even Cathy
