Recreational Factory Warehouse-Dishonest ripoff business from hell Virginia Beach Virginia

We went to purchase a pool May 25.2003. we asked how long it would take to have it installed and were told 1 week by the salesman, We were also told he didn't know if we needed a building permit. The salesman went over the contractors contract with us and collected the 800.00 installation fee. We brought the pool home ourselves to save the 75.00 delivery fee. we were told to call to schedule our instilation the following day,

We made 10 phone calls over the next several days and left messages. 5 days later, we were called and scheduled for June, 11, The date came no call, no show,no response to phone calls, So I called a salesman at the store, he said "they have nothing to do with the installers", I told him they have an office in his building, his salesman went over the contract and they took my money,his response was we'll refund the installation fee. (Nice but then were stuck with a pool)

So I went there, their person who schedules was so rude words can't describe. we were set up for 9 days later,June 20.

June 20 no call no show, a delivery truck came and dumped a truck load of sand in my driveway,he knew nothing about the install companys plans. june, 21 called all day no response.

Went to pool place and they still are saying they are not connected with contractor, however, they think the contractor is going under and are making changes, we got a refund and have hired some one else.

The contractor called our pool salesman a lyer for telling us there was a 1 week wait,how could they not know if you need a building permit in the same city, how can they not take responsability for the contractors poor buisness ethics, the whole thing stinks.

What kind of human being knowingly deceives people.
The salesman at Recreation Factory Warehouse is who.
