So far, all this company has done to me is to take my $77.00.
I have never pursued the company, because I didn't understand
the information they sent me. But, since I'm on Social Security
now, I do need my $77.00 returned.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

www.arrp.org=Consumer Protection For Senior Citizens

AUTHOR: Jacqueline - (U.S.A.)

You had mentioned that you are on Social Security, I realize some people can receive SS Funds for other reasons, but wanted to mention this organization on the likely chance you happend to be a Senior Citizen. They may have options for affordable legal defense services or other options to consider.

If you are not a Senior Citizen, than I would recommend accessing the www.consumer.gov run by the Federal Trade Commission, and other Federal "entities" who are Federal based law enforcement.

Please, call the television station that had the advertisement. Of coarse, they probably have some kind of legal disclaimer to cover their butts, but they still need to know they endorse fraud by airing this television commercial. Please let them know, if nothing else, in a written letter.

I am not sure how familiar you are with Refund Recovery Software, you might consider accessing information here at ripoffreport.com, to learn more and see what others are doing. You can access information through categories: Software, Shipping & Handling, or False TV Advertisments. You can also use keyword: Refund Recovery Software.

If you plan on seeking assistance in collecting that refund, those who can help you will need this information. This business has a domain called: RefundProcessor.biz, their domain ID: D4354133-BIZ, Sponcering Register: GO DADDY SOFTWARE, INC., Registant name: Refund Recovery Software, Organization: Transconnect Enterprise, 1770 Grand Concourse, Bronx, New York, 10457, Phone: 718-540-3555, 866-273-8088, or email: daman69x@yahoo.com The address given is also your billing contact, as well as administration. This is all according to "Network Solutions" This can also be found in the "Whois" database. This specific information updated as of June 9, 2003.

I have not tried any of this contact information.

An alias name to look out for is "Overnight Recovery Software". The Principal is Mr. Mike Pecora, Manager. He has an Unsatisfactory record at the www.newyork.bbb.org-article: http://www.newyork.bbb.org/nis/newsearch2.asp?ID=1&strBCode=01210000&Co...date: 6-10-2003. You have to be pretty crappy in order to get any BBB to say that about your business. Refund Recovery does not respond to complaints, at the least without pressure. If you would like to review the report for yourself, just access that site. It's an updated record so all of the information might be of use for you, in the process of collecting a refund.

In addition, their is no market for this software. FedEx and UPS WILL NOT allow you access to their customer account records, and they handle their own refunds. Customers can apply for refunds cost free, and receive those refunds with legit proof. This will never change.

Hope this helps.
