Don"t use Remedy Law they are a scam and use unethical practices to take peoples money im sure they are planning another bait and switch show and will come back as a new law firm soon. Stay away from this scam called Remedy Law they will take your money and then bail out and start another firm.

California Attorney David Affeld proves Lawyer ANDREW D WEISS is a SCUMBAG!

AUTHOR: CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY DAVID AFFELD - ()

POSTED: Monday, July 07, 2014

California Attorney's DAVID AFFELD and PAUL ORLOFF  have given the CALIFORNIA STATE BAR ASSOCIATION evidence proving SCUMBAG LAWYER ANDREW D WEISS has committed: EXTORTION, FRAUD AND SO MUCH MORE.

Attorney David Affeld has an email string where convicted armed robber and felon Ronald Moore conspired with California Attorney Andrew D Weiss to extort false testimony from Joe Persaud.  Weiss is jewish and when he sends stolen money to Isreal they will not send him or the money back to the United States to face justice.

Weiss is desperatly trying to distance himself from the REMEDY SCAM.

California Laywer sued David Affeld and Paul Orloff for slander and libel.  Weiss's case was lost as everything said about him is true!

To the owner(and I use that term loosely) of Remedy Law Center and Secured Processing

AUTHOR: Justice - ()

POSTED: Friday, September 27, 2013

We all on this site have dealt with you and your phony company. All you people do is run a scam and take people for their money promising to be able to get them a modification, when in fact none of you can do that. The money you take upfront is not allowable by law. If you really are a law firm you would know that and what law firm can get a loan modification, NONE !!! You people change names and company names, more often then you change your underwear !! If your so above board, why doesn't the attorney that supposedly is part of the so called firm ever return calls? But then again, he/she more then likely a "she" would no doubt be one of your marketer's. Why can't you and your so called processing ever answer a direct question? Is it because your worried about getting caught up in your own web of lies? How much do you have to pay credit reporting companies who are no doubt as low down as your so called firm is, to give you a phony "Excellent rating"? How about really being stand up people and returning the money that you ripped off from people ? But then again, those of you that have done that, are so cowardly that you have to disconnect your phone, your e-mail and your fax. One thing is for sure, when enough people realize what your all about most of you will have to RUN to the countries you came from. You come to our country and do this to us !!!! All of us on this site who have dealt with you people are hoping for the day when you all get the retribution that you deserve. Let's see if you can fight the FEDERAL JUSTICE SYSTEM.

Anyone reading this, DO NOT  be sucked in by these people. They are NO GOOD. We have alot of people who Remedy Law and their so called Secured Processing(They go by many different names as well) has ripped off and all of us are getting the word out through out the U.S. so if you have had dealings with these people, you need to make every news outlet which most do investigative reporting know about these people. It's time that they get shut down. Let them run the scam on their own people and the countries they have come from.

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS !!!!!!

False Reports

AUTHOR: Andrew D. Weiss - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, August 21, 2013

The posts allegedly by Eric Akerlink and Concerned Citizens of Newport Beach appear to be by Robert Prestwood. On another web site, see link below, Mr. Prestwood admits to posting similar information.
http://scamfraudalert.org/2013/05/12/home-remedy-center/

You should conduct some research on Robert Milton Prestwood, III before relying on any information he posts on the Internet. Mr. Prestwood is unhappy that I represent a client who was awarded $94,915.35 in a non-dischargable malicious prosecution judgment against Mr. Prestwood by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California in Moore v. Prestwood case number 8:11-01154-TA. In other postings a desperate Mr. Prestwood claims the judge was my cousin. Judgment liens have been filed in two of Pretwood’s other lawsuits, Prestwood v. Wells Fargo Bank, Orange County Superior Court case number 30-2011-00522572 and Prestwood v. McAfoose Orange County Superior Court case number 30-2011-00513640 preventing him from recovering any funds in those actions.

The posting allegedly by Concerned Citizens of Newport Beach mentions Johathan Scott Cohen.
Mr. Cohen, is an individual who obtained a $220,000.00 fraud judgment against Mr. Prestwood, Mr. Prestwood’s wife and two of Mr. Prestwood’s companies in Primetech Corporation v. Cohen Orange County Superior Court case number 05CC08803.

Prestwood is reportedly penniless and his wife is divorcing him in Murphy v. Prestwood Orange County Superior Court case number 12D007911. I have no connection with Home Remedy Center or any other loan modification organization. My practice is primarily real estate and business related ligation. I am apparently successful enough to upset Mr. Prestwood, which I consider praise. Feel free to conduct you own investigation.

Andrew D. Weiss

ATTORNEY ANDREW DUFF WEISS the man behind the curtain.

AUTHOR: ERIC AKERLIND - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, May 15, 2013

California Attorney Andrew Duff Weiss is the real driving force the REMEDY group of companies and many other fake lawfirms.  He makes over a million cash per month says Mike Zadeh.

He does not allow his name on anything and if he goes there he does not use his real name.  He has checks written in exemployees names ...then cashed and he only takes his money in cash.  I guess he is not sure his legal documents and orginization will successfuly sidestep the State and Federal laws preventing these many companies from collecting the $5000 up front for loan modifications.

Company Response is Laughable

AUTHOR: DeepThroat - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, June 15, 2012

The company response to this complaint is laughable.  Their rebuttal was that it is a disgruntled employee and that they only terminate employees that "won't follow their ethics" or won't adhere to company guidelines.  The only people they tend to fire are the employees who WON'T read their script or go along with their shady policies or can't sell period. Most ethical sales people will quit within a few weeks anyway.

If your company has a stellar reputation, you wouldn't change the name every year would you?

The company has a well refined script and trainers who work daily to keep sales associates on script.  Anyone that goes off the reservation is usually terminated or "reeducated".

The pitch goes like this...

* Send out mailers to homeowners who may have a Fannie or Freddie loan
* Mailers designed to look like they are sent from their lender (last lender of record)
* Homeowner calls to verify that they are eligible for a loan mod
* Sales associate acts at first like they are the intake officer and does not say otherwise unless specifically asked, otherwise claims to be "authorized negotiator for Fannie or Freddie"
* Ask homeowner for income and mortgage docs to send file to "underwriting"
* Wait 24 hours and do a simple calculation to see if they roughly qualify (sales person does this)
* Come back with the good news that they "qualify for a reduction in their mortgage payment" and give them some made up rate estimate that makes it look like a good deal
* Sell them on an arbitrary price decided by how much the sales person feels he can get
* Issue a "retainer" agreement where the fees are divided up between processing services (which keeps them in the gray area about receiving up front money for loan mods)
* Email ONLY an electronic document that they rush through with the client, getting them to point and click to sign their name to it as quickly as possible (because the "window is closing")
* Get them to send as much money as they can the first payment
* Hand the file off to an independent processing group (who is bad at contacting the client)
Who knows what happens after that.

I'm not claiming that they don't get some loan mods done.  The company sends out emails every so often claiming that "Successful Mod" has been completed, although they don't give out any specific file name.  But they are definitely using some unscrupulous means to get clients on board.  Many of the sales associates are not sales professionals but simply script readers and order takers.  Most of the positive "consumer" reviews you see on the internet are created and posted by a couple of employees working full time to make the company look good.  That is why you will never see any contact information for those posting.  Have to admit that it is a well-oiled machine.

Is a DA raid in their near future?  Possibly.

RE-STRUCTURE IS OUR PRIORITY

AUTHOR: RESOLUTION DEPT - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 12, 2012

Remedy Law is a full service law firm which has a division that specializes in home retention. Within that division, home loan modification and home loan re-structures are facilitated, through both traditional and government modifications and re-structures.

Prior to acceptance of any client under a mitigation program, each file is reviewed for compliance to all guidelines of that program. Each case must meet lender and/or government guidelines through a pre-qualification process. Once met, the client is contacted and all aspects of the process are reviewed, including the amount to retain the firm.

All clients are required to review the retainer prior to execution. Retention of Remedy Law, or any other firm as the advocate to utilize a professional case manager to navigate through the modification and/or re-structure process that homeowners make by choice.  At Remedy, we ensure all cases are assigned an exclusive case manager. Services for every step of the process are not paid for by the client, until after they have been performed.  No service is paid for in advance, as no case is accepted unless the guideline criteria has been met. Final negotiation of the file is a service that is provided without additional compensation by Remedy Law.
