I feel I was ripped off by Remington College Little Rock campus because I was told that my credits would transfer over toward a LPN degree, but I would not need my LPN because this was one step under an LPN. The lab was run very carelessly and on blood draws we were filling the tubes each draw and we all started getting pale after a while until an instructor informed us that we were not supose to take that much blood for each practice draw and that why we were getting so pale and that we all needed to take iron to help with our anemia. we didn't have the proper amount of testing supplies for our finger sticks, so we had to use the same one over and over for that lab day. we did not have the proper collecting tubes and had to use an alternative.

We went through so many instructors and staff that we could not keep up with their names much less what they were gonna teach or testing days. They did not help with job placement, although they did take my resume, but when i had called to check with them they had done changed staff again and couldn't find it.

I was misinformed to about the testing facility. Some teachers graded on curves. they are all about the money and not the education. they did not teach enough information for us to sucessfuly pass the certification exam, also were misformed on some of the state regulations, even how to do our charting, and we were not informed that we are supose to take continuing education credits, also we were told that medical assisting was very popular in the health care job market all over the U.S. and paid almost as much as an LPN.

after graduation I found that not to be far from true. does the college president get a bonus for each student that enrolls? exactly who all get bonuses for each student enrolled, cause there is alot of people getting ripped off by theses colleges with thier misleading tactics. They may have a high graduation rate, but do they really have the education they need or are supose to have when they graduate? I know I didn't and I was an honor student... I could think of more things to say.
