Remington Recruitment Staffing Services sent an email to me, with a job reference number and a deadline date, for a work at home position in data entry.

To be eligible for this position I had to register with a fee of $15.00, which I did, before the deadline date.
As soon as I registered, I received an email telling me that the position was already taken. This is comparable to fraud, it is deliberate advertising deception.

Further emails to this company, asking them to explain their answers have gone unanswered. Telephone calls are linked to a fax machine, again they remain unanswered. If anyone has experience of this nature with this company, please post as many reports as you can. The more people aware of this, the better.

Remington Not to Blame

AUTHOR: Sorthum - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, December 29, 2008

It's worth noting that Remington International is a respected staffing firm; from the sounds of it the report filer fell for a scam that's in no way affiliated with the company itself-- note the misspelled company name in their email address, and a gmail address at that.

It's akin to falling for a paypal phishing email, then blaming Paypal for the problem-- Remington had nothing to do with the email the reporter filed for.

Depending upon method of payment, you may have recourse such as a chargeback or a PayPal dispute...

I am a VICTIM also

I too have been taken from Remington Recruitment Staffing Services. Also know that the SAME PERSON has VARIOUS email alias's when replying back to you. I paid their "fee" via PayPal and was told that in order for me to receive my refund, I would have to CLOSE THE DISPUTE pending with paypay. Naturally, I did so that I can get my refund then I get an email from Remington Recruitment Staffing saying that they will not give me my refund but thanks for closing out the dispute.

IT WAS ALL A SET UP and I know for a FACT that there are FAR MORE VICTIMS out there. By the way, their website has GOT to be one of the WORSE generic sites I've seen, all they do is grab the SAME INFO you can get online but charge a fee for it.
