Aarons Sales And Lease Ownership - Aarons Rental Ripoff Extremely Harrassing, Scared my 14 year old daughter to tears and Vandelized my front door! Conroe Texas

I have been a customer of theirs for about 10 years. I purchased a washer and dryer, a bedroom suite, a stove and a fridge from them in the past. Never had any trouble.

Well, 2 years ago we purchased a couch and love seat. The love seat had manufacturing defects in it so I called them to pick it up to fix or replace it. They gave me a loaner in the mean time. A large amount of time passed, about 2 months or so. I finally called about my love seat.

I called for approx. a month. during that month I was put off, my phone calls not returned, lied to and treated badly. I was fed up and demanded to speak with the manager of the store. I was treated so bad by him. He wouldnt let me finish my story got rude with me and to make a long story short called me a b***h and hung up on me.

I called the general manager and complained to him. I finally got my love seat back within days. I never got an apology from the the store manager.

As a matter of fact he has treated us bad ever since. Within the last year my family has gone through some very tough financial problems. Even though we had always paid our aarons bill on time in the past and purchaed all kinds of merchandise from them, they just wouldnt cut us any slack at all. Always treated us like we were dead beats.

I do admit that we have paid late on our furniture for the last year, but it does get paid! We do the best we can. They wonder why we dont answer their unlimited harrassing phone calls or communicate with them. Why, because they are impossible to deal with. The store manager is a very rude person and has no sympothy for people having rough times. We are only about $300 away from them being paid off.

Last night (1-11-07) Aarons rental came by our house while I was not at home. My 14 year old daughter was there by herself. She has been instructed to NEVER answer the door while I'm out. She told me that someone from Aarons came by the house and BANGED on all the windows til almost breaking them and on the front door for about 25 minutes. This person was yelling and screaming out my husbands name, calling out obsenities while banging on our house with some kind of hard object. My duaghter was so scared and started to cry!

Just as she was dialing 911 that person left. I got a frantic call from my daughter telling me what was happening. I rushed home only to find that my front door was damaged from this person banging on it with some kind of object! The door was just freshly painted and there are large dents and scratches all over it.

I took pictures and fully intend on pressing charges. I am going by Aarons rental today to pay off the balance owed and I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN! Just because we are a little late on our payments doesnt give them the right to vandelize our home! We dont even own the house , its a rental home! I will be getting our landlord involved as well.

I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW WE HAVE BEEN TREATED AFTER ALL THE MONEY THAT WE HAVE GIVEN THEM! JUST BEACUSE SOMEONE OWES YOU MONEY DOESNT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO DESTROY SOMEONES PROPERTY!
