I have contacted AT&T and Residential Email, LLC. I was told that I would receive a credit withing 2 billing periods. This was several months ago, and I still have not seen a credit.

It is crazy that AT&T will bill for these services (??) without any authorization from their customer, and will not take care of correcting the problem. AT&T forces us to contact Residential Email, LLC, where I have spent a lot of time trying to get through the red tape.

I keep trying ways to find ways to lower my monthly bills - not increase them. Because I work 3rd shift from home, I must have my phone and dsl service without interruption, which makes it very difficult to try and switch providers.

Residential Email, via AT&T

AUTHOR: Debbie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 09, 2008

Anyone that is being assed a fee from Residential Email, LLC via AT&T can call their Customer Service Department at 1-800-430-6314.

Be aware though, that I have called them previously, told that the service (whatever that might be), had been cancelled, only to be billed again.

This is definitely a rip off! I have threatened to contact not only the Better Business Bureau, but the Attorney General's office as well should I receive any additional charges on my phone bill.

I was given credit by AT&T for the charges prior to my last bill, but was informed by AT&T that Residential Email, LLC may persist in obtaining any additional charges.

Residential Email, LLC responded to my Ripoff Report with their Customer Service number. If I had not reviewed the Ripoff Report again after receiving my last phone bill, I would not have this number! It is a totally different number than what appears on my phone bill for them.
