I am writing to warn others about this realtor and Landlord.

Nelson Velasquez is renting his investment Condo at Jade Ocean, 17121 Collins Ave, Unit 3606, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. He uses Ricardo Castillo of Florida International Realty to take care of everything, including repairs, and acts as "absentee owner".

On move in a good number of repairs were needed: oven door, built in coffee maker, wall tons of scuff marks with promised painting (but not done), toilet needed plunger daily(handyman said needed plumber), TV sound not sync'd with mouths etc. Ricardo said my responsibity to repair.even if broke on move in.

Finally let us leave after never repairing. Kept entire security deposit saying he mailed or wired until 33 days after move out.

I have rented since college. Never had such a bad experience and my opinion unprofessional realtor and landlord. Beware!
