RICHARD (RICK) KALOUST FROM KALOUST FINANCIAL LLC, AMERICA UNITED LIFE, ONE AMERICA..... THIS COMPANY USES SO MANY DIFFERENT ALLIAS' BECAUSE THEY DO SO MANY "GREY" DEALINGS
MR. KALOUST OPENED A 529 PLAN FOR MY SON WITH HIS COMPANY. IT JUST SO HAPPENS I WAS MARRIED TO THIS FINANCIAL ADIVISOR (IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL HIM) FOR ONLY A YEAR AND A HALF. I TRUSTED HIM NOT ONLY AS A HUSBAND BUT AS A FINANCIAL ADVISOR AS WELL. FAMILY, FRIENDS AND EXTENDED FAMIILY, HAD GIVEN MY SON A GIFT OF MONEY,PER MY REQUEST FOR EVERY HOLIDAY AND BIRTHDAY FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS. THE MONEY WAS ALL PUT INTO HIS 529 PLAN TO SAVE FOR COLLEGE. MY 15 YEAR OLD SON IS A HIGH HONNOR STUDENT WITH A DREAM TO GO TO AN IVY LEAGUE COLLEGE. HIS GRANDFATHER AND UNCLE ARE BOTH GRADUATES OF COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY.
DURING MY DIVORCE I HAD LEARNED THAT RICHARD KALOUST CASHED THE 529 PLAN IN! BECAUSE HE OWNS THE COMPANY, THERE IS LITTLE WE CAN DO. I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS CAN BE POSSIBLE, BUT IT IS TRUE.
I THINK THIS ENOUGH TO PROVE THE KIND OF BUSINESS HE RUNS. IF HE COULD DO THIS TO HIS STEP-SON IMAGINE WHAT HE COULD DO TO THE AVERAGE "JOE"
PLEASE BEWARE OF DOING ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY RICHARD PERSONALLY THAT HIS SALES REPS DEAL IN VERY "GREY" AREA. THEIR MAIN TARGET IS CAR DEALERSHIPS!! IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY LOOKING TO SELL YOU LIFE INSURANCE OR ANY OTHER FINANCIAL PLAN BEWARE!
RICHARD USED TO WORK FOR MET LIFE AND HAS MANY COMPLAINTS AGAINST HIM.

Richard Kaloust has someone posting articles on the internet for him on all sorts of subjects from Yoga techniques to global warming in an effort to bury these complaints. if you look at the dates of all his articles they come after the initial complaint in May of 2009, and most after the 2nd complaint in July of 2009

I worked for Rick and his father in the 1990's in Tampa for a brief time..I knew this scumbag would have his name all over the internet in due time..I was a hot 'new' sales agent who was very good over the phone and made 14 appointments out of like 20 calls...Rick back then was a sales manager and his father Ed was a general agent ,so both would make money off any sales i did... Bye the way those 14 appointments were all a flop becauze i wasn't allowed to speak during the meetings..Rick did the talking and sales pitch...We didn't sell anything!! LOL
Tha'ts why he's a general agent now..He never could sell very well so he makes money off of all his agents...The reason why i'm responding here is he and his father tried to rip me off so i quit the company..I made an appointment with this fellow to come in and talk about his financial situation..I wasn't allowed(again) to sit in on the meeting..This deal would have been for alot of commissions but becauze this was an in-house lead distributed to all new agents i wouldn't make any money due to the fact another agent contacted this person 3 months earlier BUT DID NOT make an appointment!!
This other agent was new and he was very good...Making alot of sales..I was also new but untested with no sales..Rick and his Dad didnt want to piss the other agent off and risk losing him so they screwed me instead..I never found out if the deal went through so all i can say is what i experienced working for Rick..He only cares about himself and money..He's good at persuasion but that is all..He can be fought..He's not that very bright..I hope this helps anyone..I'm glad i wrote it..It's been like 15 years due!!!
