I dealt with Richardson Imports, but they are owned by the same people that own all of the dealerships above.

I went to the dealership to check out the car & had a few concerns. First off one of the headlights had condensation in it, which meant there was a leak or crack of some sort, that hadn't been fixed. The car also had a loud tapping sound when the engine was started and while it ran & idled.

We asked that they have these problems looked at & it was like pulling teeth to get an honest answer out of them. We finally took things into our own hands and called the Chevrolet dealer ourselves. They could not find any problems with the engine, however the oil was very low in the car, which is most likely what caused the tapping noise. How in the world do you not check the oil when you get a car in??? Especially when you are letting people test drive a car. I should have just told them to keep the car at that point....but i didn't...I really loved it and wanted that one.

I was concerned about other potential problems with the car & wanted to take it to my own mechanic and they would ot allow it because we would of had to of taken the car across state lines.

So finally we went to pick up the car, they assured us that there was nothing wrong with it and that it would pass inspection, and if anything did not pass, they would take care of it.

Upon taking the car in for inspection (since it was out of state) the windshield wipers had to be replaced, all of the lug nut covers were cracked and the 2 front tires BARELY passed inspection. I contacted them via phone and email about the tires and they wouldn't do anything for us. They claim they stand behind all of their cars....this is absolutely false....they don't back up their cars at all.

All they care about is getting cars out as quick as possible. Its obvious that they do not check over the car when they get it in, they clean it and throw it out on their lot. They have awful customer service & do not care about pleasing their customers.

I would highly recommend noone deal with this company...you will be sorry in the end.

Tracy, You admitted that you saw the problems at the very beginning! That should have clued you in to what was about to come. The small problems that anyone finds about a vehicle that they are interested in purchasing must be put on a 'WE OWE' that all Dealerships have, and it MUST be signed by YOU and a MANAGER at the Dealership!! This way, there is no confusion. And you MUST retain a COPY of that 'WE OWE'.

Once it is in WRITING, there is no 'He said, She said'. Sorry to hear about what these so-called 'Auto Professionals' did to you. But don't worry, there is something called KARMA! They will get exactly what they deserve in the end!

99.9% of the posts here, are from people who have problems with a vehicle and/or their dealer AFTER they have purchased a used vehicle. Here we have a post from a person who not only had problems and concerns with a vehicle BEFORE she bought it, but got a bunch of crap from the dealer BEFORE she bought the vehicle YET she still bought THE PROBLEM vehicle from THE PROBLEM dealer. Then she goes on to point out all the problems she is having with THE PROBLEM vehicle and how THE PROBLEM dealer won't help her AFTER she has purchased the vehicle. How THE PROBLEM dealer "wouldn't do anything for us". What did she expect? Did she expect them to be any different after she purchased the vehicle? "I should have told them to keep the car". "I really loved it and wanted that one". How stupid can one be? Truly frickkin" amazing.
