Rickenbacker Group Commited Fraud on my credit report with a phony towing charge Morgan Hill California

I received a credit report Experian that showed I owed $819 to a company called JC TOW. The collection agency was listed as RICKENBACKER GROUP.
I complained to Experian and they sent me another credit report and told me that I had to contact RICKENBACKER GROUP directly. I called them (1-800-573-8774) and spoke to one of their customer reps. I explained to him that the towing charge was fraudulent and that I did not have a car towed in April 2008. He asked me if I lived at a certain address in Florida. I did live at that address in 2003. He asked me if I owned a '99 Talon. I said never. He said, "hmm, that is strange. the car didn't have any license plates on it."
He told me that I would have to go to the DMV in Seattle and get a report on which vehicles I owned in 2008 and fax it to the RICKENBACKER GROUP at 408-762-7204.
My husband looked up RICKENBACKER GROUP and it shows that they have done this same scam to other people. They find a car that has no plates and choose a victim as the "registerd owner" of the car. Then they put a fake collection on your credit report and hope that you will pay it.
These people are criminals. I am calling the FBI as soon as possible. I am not sending them a report on what cars I own. They probably use that information to fuel more of the same type of scam.
With several complaints against these thieves out on the internet, the FBI and the credit reportinig agencies should be aware of their scam and conducting an investigation.
This company should be put out of business and their owners put in jail for fraud.
