Doc Love does seem to know what he's talking about. However, at $99 for Doc Love's "The System", he offers very little to go on. I would consider him a marketing genius, except that his book is so poorly written and designed that it's obvious he wrote it himself, with no professional help.

The Dating Dictionary is literally 210 pages of "tips" organized alphabetically. The interview and speech are entertaining, but repetitive, short on information, and for someone who actually wants information, a waste of time. Everything important and usable that he teaches could be distilled into about 3 or 4 pages. The rest of the dating dictionary, and I'm not kidding, is filled with supposedly clever and wise quotes by personas he made up, and long but boring and ultimately useless hypothetical stories.

The whole point is to whet your appetite for his Advanced book, which is probably only slightly more informative, and his seminars, which, again, probably only dribble out the wisdom is small bites. I imagine he puts on a good show, so you walk out of his seminars thinking you learned something, but there is no way you could possibly call this an actual system, if by system you mean complete and useful.

Avoid all Doc Love products, and based on the old saying, "Birds of a feather, flock together," I recommend avoiding all dating related products on AskMen.com, including The Player's Online Guide. I'm not speaking from experience, but if AskMen.com does not inspect and demand a high level of quality from an admittedly expensive product like The System with such a comprehensive-sounding name, I can't imagine that they do any sort of quality control for any of their other products.

This is guilt by association, but if a company/website sells one bogus product so flagrantly, aren't all of its other products automatically suspect?

By the way, I would have returned the System, but I live overseas, and by the time I received the System (to great expectations) it was too late to return. If, after all I've said, you still insist on getting it out of sheer morbid curiosity, I suggest that you prepare yourself with a return envelope in advance, as they give you 60 days for the money back guarantee, but it will take you only 5 minutes after you realize how you've been duped (particularly by the book, which is written at the intellectual and grammatical level of a 7-year old) to want to return it, and fast.

If I can save one person... this report, and my time and money, will have been worth it.

The Greatest Day of Your Dating Life

AUTHOR: John - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, June 12, 2013

Billy said "if I can save one person... this report, and my time and money, will have been worth it." Save who? From what? The Doc will clearly refund every penny of your money. Billy didn't send the book back for a refund then claims he's been "ripped off". If you get your money back, it's not a rip off! I bought The System thirteen years ago in 2000. I couldn't find not one thing wrong with it all these years. Nothing. It is the most complete dating system ever. Absolutely everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is covered. What to say, what to do, how to handle everything a girl can throw at you. It works everytime and NEVER misses. You will never be stuck with a hardheaded, inflexable taking cheater, who also nags and complains about everything you do. You will be totally in control of every date. You will do all the rejecting. You will hold the rejection card the moment you get, read and do "The System". The Greatest Day of your dating life will be the day "The System" arrives in your mailbox. It works. I have used it. You'll wish you had it when you were twenty. It is not a rip off in any way.

Strongly disagree - This book is a GOLD MINE

AUTHOR: James - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 29, 2009

I have absolutely no idea what this guy is complaining about. He's correct in the way the book is arranged but who cares? What's wrong with 210 pages of tips (VERY good ones, I might add) arranged alphabetically? Would he prefer a hardcover, professionally published book full of BS?

This book is written in the same manner as two guys discussing women over coffee. Very conversational and easy-to-understand. To say that the majority of this book consists of useless quotes is just a flat out lie.

The most useful comment this reviewer provided is when he said, "I'm not speaking from experience".

If you want good info on dating you have two choices. You can get the books written by PhD's that are well-reviewed in all the magazines ... or you can get something that actually works. Doc Love's system works.

Doclove rocks

AUTHOR: Karma - (Australia)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 07, 2008

DOCLOVE really gets it, if you are looking for a 15 second sound bite of how to "get" a girl, try another product.

You post is high on retoric and low on facts and where you think he has gone wrong.

If you really want to get a handle on his teachings go to www.wsradio.com and listern to his show.

I Disagree Also -

AUTHOR: Mjd001 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 23, 2008

I ordered Doc Love's material after reading askmen.com and reading the website. My motivation was for marriage improvement, which was outside the realm of the material but it has helped me immensely with my marriage.

The advice is immediately useful, practical and a part of a growing experience. I only wish I had it sooner. While not as polished as other books, this one is a gem. The System orientates men on how to look out for themselves and sort out whats out there in the female world. It's worth $99.

The System is a dicipline; no "cook-book" methods - it shows you where you stand, what your limitations are and what women *need* from a man, which is not nessesarily what they say they want. Once fulfilled, a guy practicing "The System" will get better results from women.

Doc says "You only need one good one" - The System is not about quickie sex or instant gratification. It's about finding the right woman, and if your married, how to keep her.

Would have to disagree

AUTHOR: Jeff - (Canada)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 05, 2008

I will have to disagree, this book is great. The book is not written in top professional manner, however the content is great. This is a very realistic book, it is not a magic guide to get every woman in the world to fall in love with you. The book does not talk about sex at all. It reminds men to be gentlemen and take things slow during the first few months of dating a girl and that good things come to those that wait. And from my experiences this is very true when it comes to women; Patience is the key to women. The basic premise of the system is that the girl has to have some feeling of attraction towards you to begin with and suggests that after that what the man does and says will either make the woman like you more or make the woman like you less. This book shows men the types of women to avoid and how to test a woman to find out if she is that type before you go on 5 dates with one and spend a few hundred dollars.

In today's economy I don't feel as though $99 is a lot of money to spend on a book that truly helps men in dating...how many dates with a woman does it take to spend $99? Maybe 2 or 3 tops. So you want to go on 3 dates with a woman and get nowhere or get a book that teaches you how to turn that 1st date into as many dates with that woman as you please while avoiding all the wrong women who are only after your $$$ to begin with among other things.
