I took my truck here to get an immobilizer installed for insurance reasons. The idea behind the immobilizer is to prevent auto theft, and yet when I went to pick up my truck, I was quite surprised and unimpressed to find my truck unlocked in the parking lot.

Not only were the doors unlocked, but as soon as I opened my door, I immediately saw that my driver's seat was pushed so far back that back of my leather seat was pressed so hard into the sub woofer box that is behind my seat and marked and stretched the leather to the point that it appears that a tear in the near future is imminent.

It was also very apparent that the installer did not clean my truck very carefully, as there were plastic shavings on the seat as well as all over the floor. As well as the mess left inside the truck, the installer installed the floor mats incorrectly. Now I know these two annoyances are minor, but its just the small things. And as you all know sometimes its those small things that make the big difference.

After noticing all of the above, I decided to do a walk around of my truck and was extremely frustrated to find that there were paint marks on my passenger door which definitely were not there previously.

Now I know that many of you out there may not see any of these annoyances as big deals, and I know that they could have been much worse, but the moral of the story is that you expect when you drop your vehicle off to get work done, you expect to pick the vehicle up in the exact same condition as it was left in.

Not only that but just that people would exercise caution and use common sense, such as looking behind the seat before pushing it all the way back to make sure there isn't anything that will break or cause damage. As well as knowing we are in a city with a high risk of auto theft, you would think that the people who worked on the vehicle to install some anti-theft equipment would have locked the doors and armed the alarm on the truck; it only takes a second to press the one button that does both at the same time!!!

Luckily, my truck wasn't stolen nor was anything stolen out of it...

The last point I have to make is that the Customer Service provided to me after I brought this complaint to the manager/owner and the installer's attention, I was treated like crap, and my complaint was dismissed and sloughed off without any attempt to make it right or any offer of doing anything, or EVEN an apology. Instead the manager/owner said about his personal vehicles and he knows what it means to care about and take care of vehicles. If this is true why doesn't he enforce it with his employees and possibly train them better?
