Roark Vacation Travel Club, Roark, or Roark Travel Club This company conducted a presentation that showed all kinds of vacations and promised a savings of 30-70 percent. They said I would save thousands of dollars. They promised it was so easy to call and plan trips. Branson Missouri

 Roark Travel is a complete rip-off. Everything in the presentation is a lie. It took so long to receive the promised info in how to sign up online and to get my code. They knew I was on vacation in Branson. How convenient to cover the 3day cancellation period! It took a month to hear from someone who promised to send it, never got it. I signed up in October. This month, April I called to try again; wanted to try to book 2trips. It was so hard to plan a trip on the phone. They took so long and did not follow-up and call back! I found it so odd that the lady on the phone quickly got a price for airfare and it was $450 to go to New York. I said that is too high. She said if I go on right now that I would not find anything better. Well, I did, and found flights for $120 less! Why have this service? I can do it and find better prices!!! Another awful thing, this month, everyday I get 2-3 phone calls from Roark trying to get me to buy a 3 year membership to extend my plan. Then other calls saying they must soeak to me about activity on my account, ??? and they wanted me to pay for some incentive deal. I said I have not even booked one trip and you want me to buy more??? I decided to call Warren Hall to get help. He signed me up. I told him what was happening! I said I was not happy. I said I can get better prices on my own. I said I want my money back. He said, well that won't happen! E said he would send me how to go online and he would send me a code. I decided to try it! I got hotel prices that seemed good but money was added to the total so a hotel for 5 days through Roark was 2,301 and when I did it the cost was only 1200! Why????? There were no deals or savings anywhere I looked!!!!!! This is false advertising and taking advantage of people, especially older people in retirement wanting to travel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
