First of all, I would like to mention that I have never called a company's HQ ever to complain about any customer experience. I also want you to know that I am not trying to "tattle" on anyone nor
get anyone fired.

My husband and I go to Robek's almost everyday at the High Ridge location.  We really enjoy the naturally light smoothies.  It's closer to our home and the staff (high school age) is great.  I think it has to do with the owner and her proximity to the kids due to her daughter. I believe her daughter works there, and my smoothies have always been perfect every time.

I do go to your location occasionally (2-3 month).  Yesterday I went to get my husband a little something for his workday because it was his birthday.  He works at UBS, and your location is along my way to his office.  There were 2 males and 1 female working there around 2:45.  They were all very slow (it took almost 10 minutes for me to get the first version of my smoothie and there was only 2 people ahead of me) and it looked like they had no idea how much fruit/juice/ice to put in each smoothie.  The first time I was presented my smoothie there was more than 1 inch missing from the cup.  I asked the male worker for the rest and he told me that is the standard for smoothies.

This is where the problem starts.  Not only was I subjected to rude hostile behavior but the workers did want any accountability whatsoever.  When the first worker (african american male) refused to correct my order, he passed it off to another worker (latino male) who proceeded to finish the order.  During that time, I asked for the first worker's name he became incredibly hostile and muttered muffled comments underneath his breath to the other male coworker.  When I
asked the worker completing the order for the original worker's name, he became defensive and tried to ask me "why would I need his name?". I felt really bad for this worker because I understand that he did not want the other worker to get in trouble.  Either way these behaviors
were both irresponsible and could be damaging to your future business.

Finally when I got in the car and I proceeded to drive away, I noticed that my clothing was covered in the smoothie.  Guess what?  There was an intentional hole in the side of my styrofoam cup.  I decided not to go back because I was now very upset and also very late to my husband's office, but because I did not want to make a bad situation much more worse.

All in all, please if you have a chance talk to your high school age employees about the importance of customer service and accountability.  They are representing your store and your brand.  Their immaturity is getting in the way of your business, and  for their own future will
not get them ahead in the real world.
