Thought I might re-up this forum, as Krutko has chosen me as his latest victim. People need to know he is a cyber bully and extortionist. He floods forums and reviews sites (ironically, this is one of his favorites) with lies and slander. He is very litigious and is still hopefull for a lawsuit payoff. He's a sad pathetic man and it's unfortunate. Worse than that, he feels the need to defame families, small businesses, and public service men and women To try to extort his money. Pathetic. The case was concluded MONTHS ago; YOU LOST. The court documents have been available for months so why haven't you used these documents to prove your allegations as you stated you would above?

Why don't you explain why the attorney for RSA Inc. (Reef Snorkeling Adventures Inc., Laura Krutko, President) withdrew from the case?

Why don't you explain why the judge WARNED you about your "highly suspicious" evidentiary documents when you moved for dismissal and release of the vessel? You know, your ridiculous claim that a "newly discovered" document that proved RSA Inc was dissolved on Aug 30 2005, but wasn't FILED until Oct 2007 on the same day you filed your motion to dismiss? The reality is the document states a dissolution approval date and the form is signed (but not dated) by Laura Krutko, but the EFFECTIVE DATE was left blank. Go ahead. Take all the time you need to explain this one.

When are you going to make these court documents available to Mr. McCarthy so he can read for himself what really transpired during the lawsuit against you? Don't' forget to include the evidentiary documents filed by the plaintiff that include the investigative reports and statements from the folks who were on the scene when the vessel was adrift.

When are you going to provide Mr. McCarthy a copy of the judge's order that denied your motion to dismiss so that he can read for himself what you attempted to do and the judge's STATEMENTS as to WHY your evidentiary documents were "HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS?" and he denied your motion?

Perhaps if Mr. McCarthy would READ these documents, he might develop a more accurate opinion of the type of people he's dealing with (you and your wife) and re-assess his relationship with you.

When are you going to update the Secretary of the Gulf Coast Mariners Association with the FACTS of your case (as filed with the court), including the WARNING to you that the Judge stated, so he can write a follow-up article to the one he printed in their newsletter in March 2007?

On podbean, Robert posted several recorded telephone conversations with cops in Florida. What Robert failed to research, was Florida statute 934, which identifies Florida as a 2-party state with regards to recorded telephone conversations. Each event is a First Degree Misdemeanor, carrying up to 1 year in jail each.

I just spent some time on the phone contacting the agencies and officers identified in those recordings. Let's just say...none were very happy The recordings were downloaded and warrants are being pursued.

On a side note, there has got to be a mental issue here. We called him out on his aliases a long time ago. Yet he keeps doing it. Who does he think he is fooling? Oh well.

This report deserves a bump as new information has come to light. Mike's last post said that United Yacht filed a suit against Robert. After several months of dodging the process server, Peter finally hired a PI and tracked Robert down. Robert was served on 4/30/08 and had 20 days to respond. I'm assuming that since he's still on his internet rampage, that he has not answered and is hiding from the law. I hope this proves enough to have a warrant issued for his arrest.

Lately, Robert has increased his attacks on various organizations. Anyone that can be tied in any way to this issue is coming under Robert's wrath. And I've finally had enough. As of today, I have contacted the following individuals:

Dee Dee Holley at the Florida DHSMV, and let her know Robert is still saying that she is 'on the record' saying this was theft.

Karen Taylor at the Lee County Tax Collectors office, letting her know that Robert did the same thing with her email as he did with Dee Dee's.

Chuck Collins, Director of the FWC South Region, and let him know about the report about two of his officers.

It is now my mission in life to see Robert's ridiculous rants end. I predict by the end of 2008 Robert will have to post retractions to all 35 (and counting) of his reports on this site, take down all websites he's created, and delete his posts on all the topic boards like Topix and Destin Sharks.

Oh, and interestingly enough, I just responded to another of Robert's reports. The last poster from yesterday was 'Linda Ray'. Funny, in one of Mike's rebuttals above, he said one of the many aliases was Linda Ray. Now isn't that something.

I just learned that on Feb 11, Peter Schmidt of United Yacht Sales in Stuart, FL filed a civil lawsuit on Robert Krutko for his endless slander and libel. Finally, the day of reckoning is coming for Krutko.

However, Krutko knows of the lawsuit and is hiding from the Civil Process server. On one occassion, he lied and said he was not Robert.

Krutko continues to slander multiple companies on a daily basis on several websites. The time has come for him to put his money where his mouth is. But for now, he is in hiding, behind the safety of his keyboard.

If his claims were true, you'd think he would welcome a day in court.

Like everyone else, I am sick to death of Robert's lies. It would be easy to ignore him if he wasn't on every local website spreading this load of crap. But he just won't go away.

Enough is enough. Grow up Robert. And, thank you to the OP for writing this report.

I happened upon this report by accident looking for another boating service, and just have to say you're bickering like teenagers. I understand that someone has discredited someone else. In my opinion (which I know doesn't matter) Michael you're first report was very straight and to the point, you would have been better to have just let him make his comments and ignore them. Then it would look like you weren't childish enough to play his games. And as for Robert...it sounds like you just need to get a grip, not everyone is out to get you. And "copying" emails? Anyone can say they copied what they had and just type in what they want. It's easy to lie on the internet, but it seems you've figured that out. I would say both of you just drop it let the courts decide and go your seperate ways.

Actually, Paul Meyers is exactly the person to talk to. Anyone can call him at the Key West State's Attorney's Office at three zero five, two nine two, three four zero zero.

I invite anyone who might actually care to give the Chief Investigator a call. He will be more than happy to confirm that the complaint was never forwarded to them, and that DBPR's findings are not what Robert is reporting.

Here's why. Attorneys in Florida are NOT required to have an Auctioneer's License. That is the law. Therefore, Ekstein committed no crime. Therefore, Robert is once again proven to be a liar.

This whole case was ruled to be civil by three law enforcement agencies and the prosecutors office over a year ago. Robert was told to hire a lawyer and file a civil suit. But he's too cheap and keeps trying to take the free road, which doesn't exist. Robert is exactly in the same position now as he was over a year ago. He'll never learn.

Your "story" was discredited a long time ago by just casual readers.

Robert's latest ill-planned fib was to lie about a Florida DBPR investigation.

Robert called DBPR and filed a complaint on Alan Eckstein, a Key West attorney. Now, he is claiming that DBPR found Eckstein to have committed a Felony crime and the report was forwarded to the Key West State's Attorney's Office for prosecution.

The only truth in that, is that Robert did file a complaint. However, DBPR found no criminal activity in Eckstein and dropped the investigation. The case was never forwarded to the SAO as Robert reported. This was confirmed by me in a two-mintue telephone call to the SAO.

Robert Krutko can add the Federal Court System to his long list of conspirators against him.

His case has come to a close and he LOST. The Federal Court sided with Ocean Key House and agreed there was no Theft of Robert's boat.

Due to how much money Robert owed the Ocean Key House, it was completely legal for them to hold the boat as collateral.

The Federal Court has ruled, and Robert Lost.

Not only was it theft John Evans of hydrothunder watersports key west lied to state police telling them he owned yacht. Some people online here want you to believe there was back rent owed and the boat was a navigational hazzard. Not true it was up against a cudjoe key residents dock out of the way. As part of there false storys they forgot to mention many things. the hotels attorney after auctioning off yacht told buyer to keep boat hidden until he got transfer paperwork through to his name due to the fact the owners were looking for their vessel. (sounds like everything there was legal)

Oh yes and if it was all legal, why has two state officials come on record verifying it was theft? we also have 12 police officers throughout florida including monroe county sheriff deputys/detectives clearly said it was theft/grand theft. ( i will be uploading there conversations soon) oh yes and people want you to believe recording conversation were illegal, seeing im in ohio making the calls ohio laws say one person must have knowledge the calls are recorded and that was me. oh yes several other state police are on recording saying it was theft along with other state officials /attorneys.

All these people say "theft" and grand theft but local sheriffs refuse to even investigate why? doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.. If the boat you are claiming owes you money leaves for any reason you cannot claim the statute and do a non judicial sale correct? At that point as a marina

You are correct in all that you stated. I apologize for not emailing you yesterday like I said that I would. The only thing is the P.S. is incorrect. If the boat leaves your possession for any reason, that then becomes a civil matter and you would have to get a court to say that you can go get the vessel. On a website called destinsharks, Robert told his load of crap under the screen name Floridaguy. Later, he created a new screen name, boat4ever, and responded to himself. Unfortunately for him, he forgot which name was which and responded to himself without switching the names. Needless to say, he made a horse's behind of himself over there.

He makes it so easy for simple folks to see right through him.

The marina was also involved in the theft of another mans yacht at this same location where the boat was later torched and yes the state still allows them a lease . please help our writing campaign to let the state know discrimination and illegal acts should not be allowed and ocean key resort marina should have their lease pulled. the name below is the person in charge of state lands leases please e mail him direct.

First and foremost, I have to point out the e-mail address Robert lists to contact "Al." Wheezy9870 is Robert Krutko's home e-mail in Columbus, OH, not anyone named Al in Key West.

But aside from his little e-mail blunder, this whole story is completely made up! I live in Key West , work on the water, and know the ins and outs of every waterfront hotel in Key West Harbor. I tried to give the subject of this report the benefit of the doubt on another thread started by him. He has refused to answer every question I asked him. Instead, he responded calling me and others unprevoked childish names. I don't know how someone can start a complaint and refuse to answer questions by concerned readers. This thread has hit the nail right on the head about Robert. He will only tell a story to a certain point that is convenient for him. But ask him to clarify something, and the temper shows. Also, I was glad to see the author point out that Robert responds to himself under different screen names. I too have noticed that.

As far as I'm concerned, the author has written a well substantiated report that has been proven in Robert's responses.

This mike has a great fictional story. He failed to mention as i have posted above in a news paper article there was another victim. If you read the story mc carty clearly says the hotel and attorney lied. He also states after the people who illegally took the boat that sold it to him were confronted on their illegal taking and selling of yacht they refunded his money quickly. Robert Krutko (AKA Chris on this thread...I'm sure there will be more AKAs to come) is still hung up on the Gatchell issue, which has nothing to do with this......

As for the newspaper article by Dennis Cooper.......that was published in a paper better known by locals to be a tabloid. And in true Dennis Cooper fashion, it only published the opinions of one side. Key West The Newspaper is not the paper of Key West, so don't be fooled by Robert's lies. The Key West newspaper is called The Citizen, and it did not publish this story because it wasn't newsworthy.

Next, what does parking have to do with all of this? That's right....nothing.

Last October, Kevin McCarthy, of Amelia Island, Florida, drove down to Key West to look at a 45-foot boat being offered for sale by the Ocean Key House Resort. He looked at the boat, talked to a broker and was ready to offer the asking price of $110,000.

Then he learned that the hotel was planning to auction off the boat. So he checked with hotel General Manager Steve Boswell and the hotel's attorney, Alan Eckstein.

I wanted to make sure that the hotel really owned the boat, McCarthy told Key West the Newspaper this week. They told me that they had taken possession of the boat after the owner had defaulted on his dockage payments.

So McCarthy authorized his broker to bid on the boat and he got it for $71,000. And he got a purchase sales agreement from Attorney Eckstein.

McCarthy motored the boat up to Islamorada and left it there for 10 days for cleaning and servicing. Then he and his wife returned to the Keys to take the boat up to Amelia Island.

We were nearing Miami when both engines quit on us, he said. And while we were waiting on a tow, I got a call on my cell phone from Robert Krutko, who identified himself as the former owner of the boat. He told me, You are on my stolen vessel.'

He said that the Ocean Key House had stolen the boat from him and had illegally resold it, McCarthy said.

I didn't know what to think, so while we were being towed to Miami, I called Attorney Eckstein. He reassured me that everything was okay. Then I checked with a Miami maritime lawyer recommended by the towboat driver. After listening to my story, he told me that I had probably bought a stolen boat.

McCarthy said he had already made arrangements for extensive servicing in Ft. Lauderdale, so he had the boat towed there and, back home, consulted with another maritime lawyer in Jacksonville.

He agreed with the Miami lawyer and, after some more research, he wrote Eckstein a letter demanding that they return my $71,000, McCarthy said. It took them a couple of weeks, but they finally sent me the money.

Last December, the Ocean Key House sued Krutko in federal court, alleging that he owes the hotel more than $60,000 in dockage fees. Krutko has counter sued, alleging grand theft.

Krutko said that, in June of 2005, he and his wife bought an existing sunset cruise and snorkeling business based at the Ocean Key House Resort marina. The deal included the boat.

We were paying $3000 per month for dockage on a month-to-month basis, he said. But we soon learned that we were losing thousands of dollars because the concierges at the hotel were referring business to our competitors. I complained to General Manager Boswell and he promised to put a stop to it. But nothing changed.

Then, the hurricanes of September and October 2005 blew through, and many of the docks and walkways at the hotel were destroyed.

The hotel had ordered all boats out of the marina before the storms but, after Wilma, we were allowed to return because our slip was intact, Krutko said. But we were not required to pay rent for a couple of months because the marina was not operational.

But by December, when the walkways in the marina had been repaired, he and his wife had decided to move the boat, put it up for sale and move on.

But Boswell begged us to stay, even offering six months free rent because of the storms and the problems the concierges had caused us, Krutko said. But the problem never got any better.

So, a few days before the six-month free rent deal expired, Krutko said that he had an employee move the boat out of the hotel marina, up to his home on a canal on Cudjoe Key, 23 miles away.

But it was decided that there wasn't enough room to put the boat at my dock, so he anchored it out in the bay, Krutko said.

But, the next day, the boat was missing and Krutko filed a theft report with the Sheriff's Office. Deputies reported that a call had come in from a neighbor who said the boat was adrift and that he had called the Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC).

An FWC officer found the boat and a Sea Tow boat showed up at the same time. Then a call came in from the Ocean Key House. Hotel officials reportedly told the officer that the boat had broken loose in the marina and that it should be returned to the hotel.

Incredibly, the FWC officer released the boat to the hotel, rather than having it towed to a secure location until the owner could be found,Krutko said. It didn't seem to occur to the officer to question how the boat could have drifted' from the Ocean Key House to a location 23 miles up the Keys!

A Sheriff's deputy reportedly later found the boat chained to the dock at the hotel marina. Upon questioning, hotel employees reportedly told the deputy that the hotel had a lien on the boat, but they could not produce any paperwork to support that claim.

The Sheriff not only bought that bogus claim, a deputy called me and told me it was now a civil matter,Krutko said.

Not long after that, the hotel sold the boat to Kevin McCarthy.

McCarthy said that, even though the hotel returned his purchase price to him, he is still out thousands of dollars for other expenses associated with buying and moving the boat. I am watching Robert's lawsuit against the hotel,he said. When he wins his suit, I'm next in line.

Krutko calls the hotel's lawsuit outrageous.

They are even suing for dockage fees during the time, after the storms, when the hotel didn't have any docks. he said.

He said he is also disappointed in State Attorney Mark Kohl, who refused to accept his grand theft complaint against the hotel. Why can't he see grand theft when it's staring him right in the face?

While the lawyers wrangle, the boat remains in the custody of federal marshals in a Ft. Lauderdale marina, continuing to run up dockage bills.

as you can see not only did they steal a yacht and sell it they lied to the guy buying it. After they got caught up in their lies they refunded the mans money quickly. hmm

Then i understand this great ocean key resort in key west was just found guilty of a number of violations from the DEP. Im told they were just fined in the neighborhood of $20,000 dollars plus need to come into compliance on many issues.
Sources also tell me they have been reported to city about illegal boats in the marina which they and the city have denied. I understand as of several weeks ago the DEP had photos of the illegal boats in the marina and the hotel has now come forward in writing and admitted they had more boats than they were allowed after being caught.....

Im also told as part of their violations in the marina (State critical concern waters for environment) they also didnt have a pumpout station for the crap theyve been allowing tennants to dump into water nor did they have an oil unit for recycling the old boat oils. FURY CATAMARANS- Owners Scott Saunder and Michael Halpern. This company is one of the largest tour boat operators on the island. I had a boat in the same slip they are currently in and was approved by coast guard for 49 passengers. I was told by the corrupt city of key west i could only run 24 due to parking regulations.
After i was forced out by the hotel and city for these regulations the fury comes in and gets a license by these same officials for 3 to 4 times more. hmm

I think it would be prudent on the part of the City to allow Gail the opportunity to review the existing file regarding Zero Duval and the parking issues at this location prior to a license being issued to the Fury for their catamaran. Carolyn has been using 'historic' information to base her decision on. However, the parking situation in this area has dramatically changed with the drastic reduction of parking spaces at Mallory Square. As she stated, Ocean Key House at one time, leased parking spaces from the City in Mallory Square (there use to be a gate to the parking lot). To allocate 70 percent of the existing parking spaces for waterfront based activities would seem erroneous in light of the fact that there are only 70 parking spaces at this location (which is 70 percent of what is required for the rooms) as it is. The reason that they have valet parking is to obtain 33 additional spaces (part of a variance). Essentially, they have no additional parking spaces available for any activity or business.
