Robert Mannix - Mannix Studio I am yet another victim getting ripped off by this photographer! Troy New York

We hired Robert Mannix to be our wedding photographer in May 2008 and he was paid in full prior to the wedding. Since the wedding, he has not returned any of our calls ( except for once or twice when he lied and said he would send out our pictures). Other than showing up and posting the pictures online, he has not fulfilled the contract. Most important is that he still owes us our pictures on a cd and the storybook photo album. We have tried to order our pictures from the website but that company is waiting for him to download those pictures and so far he isn't even doing that!He is basically holding our pictures hostage!
Furthermore, he verbally promised to fix some of the pictures as he was not on his game the day of our wedding. He did not take a single picture of us (the bride and groom) facing front/the camera at the same time!! How does a photographer not take at least one frontal facing picture of the bride and groom? Now we have no picture to put into the frames we gave as gifts to our family and friends. He claimed to be a photojournalist style and yet had us posed in stupid positions that we would normally never do and still could not manage o take a single picture of us facing the camera at the same time!
We are VERY interested in filing a class action lawsuite and encourage anyone else who has been wronged by this con man to do so as well! Any advice would be helpful!!!
