Ebay auction closed on 09/21/04 and payment was sent via Paypal on 09/22/04. Seller promised to send the item within 24 hours after payment. On 10/17/04 I inquired to the seller that I had not received my auction item. First the seller claimed he sent it via USPS priority mail and then later on he changed the mailing method to first class mail. I inquired on a tracking number or a way to trace the mail. He did not provide anything and did nothing to help remedy situation. Instead of helping to trace the item, he harassed me via email calling me offensive names, using slurs. I filed a Buyer's Protection claim with Paypal and they were only able to recover $1.12 out of the seller account after the dispute proved in my favor. Seller has refused to answer my calls, and he won't refund my item nor cooperate with Paypal or myself to recover the funds. I am out on $186.18 because the seller is being a jerk about the situation. I have reason to believe he never sent the item. Please help.

Ebay and Paypal reports were filed and they were found in my favor. Seller got suspended from Ebay and Paypal indefinitely for violating the terms of service agreement, which Ebay and Paypal take very seriously. Seller refused to cooperate with Ebay Buyer/Seller resolutions department.

This customer pulls a buyer scam on Ebay.

They buy small but expenive items that will fit in a regular envelope such as a gift certificate. When you offer them shipping insurance they will always decline it. After they pay and subsequently receive the item, they file a complaint with Paypal and Ebay saying they never received the item that you mailed to their verified address. If you just send the item regular way mail, no tracking number is provided. They will then attempt to double-dip. They request their original payment back after having spent the gift certificate you sent them. The reason I know this is because I checked with the merchant. They made the mistake of having a credit loaded on to the gift card from some previous purchase which identified them by name. I do not appreciate being libeled and slandered with false reports of a scam that failed.
