Robolizard committed complete fraud in our view. They gladly accepted a check for $1000, then had us pay an additional $500 for advertising. They made claim that they were doing a whole bunch of work in terms of optimizing our ecommerce site, putting together social media profiles, optimizing our product descriptions, and preparing and testing our account for remarketing, including making a couple of banners for the campaign.

Well low and behold - 3 months later, the only thing they actually accomplished, after them sending us mutiple emails and texts regarding the work that they've completed and had in process, in addition to the remarketing campaigns running in the background and collecting data - to find out, absolutely nothing was done at all, accept for a few banners. (which we could have had done for $50 elsewhere). No SEO, No social media, No product description updates, No remarketing campaigns running, nothing, nada, zip...

So, we find another professional SEO company to assist us - again, more $$ to hire them, and we find out that the actual banners and campaigns setup by Scamolizard were actually disapproved by Google as they did not comply with their terms of service. So, we had to redo those and spend another week fixing that issue.

Although the dollar amount is not large, the fact that they perpetrated this fradulent activity and completely misprepresented themselves over several months - we thought this would be the perfect venue to bring this to the attention to the public. Next stop is the local business authorities, then court.

Also of note is the fact that the owner, Thomas Kane is actually Thomas Sinson. Why he has to use or hide behind another name is a big question and a red flag is you ask anybody. Perhaps there is another past there as well. Either way - Thomas Kane/Thomas Stinson/Thomas Kane Stinson/Robolizard in our eyes committed fraud and is a scammer.

In addition to all of this - I tried working out a payment arrangement to settle this matter amicably and let it be part of the past. So, his "businesss manager/advisor" Chuck Wesley stepped in and made several overtures to me over the course of a month that they should be able to refund us in full soon, etc.. and they're working to take care of this situation as soon as possible, etc... Here we are 2 months later - and they've done nothing to resolve this issue.  Chuck- you're guilty by associating with this scammer and making the overtures that you did, especially if you and/or Thomas had no intention of paying us back.

So our recommendation, based on our experience, is to stay away from them and don't let them scam you either.

AUTHOR: Truth - ()

POSTED: Friday, February 20, 2015

I want to thank Thomas Sinson/Robolizard for resolving this issue and acting honorably in settling it with us.

This could have easily taken another direction and Thomas took the high road which I really appreciate.

Settlement Reached - Acting Honorably

AUTHOR: Truth - ()

POSTED: Thursday, October 23, 2014

I'm pleased to announce that a settlement has been reached with Thomas and RoboLizard. Multiple Payments have been made to resolve this in good form.

I'd also like to state that Thomas has been acting honorably and forthright with us in all matters now and feel good about the path that we're currently on towards a full resolution to this issue.

It has also come to my attention that there were several extenuating circumstances that took place during the time that this issue originally arose and that was like a strong contributor to this whole situation. We've all had our moments - this apparently is no different...

Looking forward to resolving this soon.

Thanks

Get Your Facts Straight

AUTHOR: Truth - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, August 26, 2014

Seriously Mr. Wesley - I'm very surprised that you wrote that.

If you are going to provide a rebuttal - at the very least you should Get Your Facts Straight.

First - regarding an agreement - I stated that there was an email that outlined the details of our arrangement that was agreed to. I may have stated that there was no drawn out lengthy agreement - but the fact remains there is a highly detailed email outlining the terms of our arrangement that was agreed to. In addition - at no time was it indicated that the scope of work was valued at $30,000 and I actually don't know where that number came from or what it entails...

In addition - your "10% profits" citation is completely incorrect. For one - it was a percentage of net sales (not profits) that started at 10% and increased on a volume incentive basis up to 20%. More sales = more revenue share. Again - your facts are not straight on that.

Regarding your comment on the JV being in complete control by me is just ridiculous. I put the faith and goodwill of this project, which I previously had a considerable amount of time and money invested into it, into the hands and administrative control of RoboLizard. They had complete and unfettered access to every aspect of this project with the expectation that they would drive sales with the paid advertising (PPC) I was paying for, in addition to optimizing our site, create social media profiles, and provide SEO services so we can rank in the search engines. Obviously, none of that took place after several months of inaction and misrepresentataion of what actually took place.

Let me also remind you Mr. Wesley that you and I spoke on multiple occassions subsequent to our break where you specifically stated that you would do everything possible to see that I get paid back the money I paid to RoboLizard. To date - not a single dime has arrived..

In terms of RoboLizard conveying assets - I understand that several files were uploaded to a dropbox account which I have not accessed. After Thomas explained how his computer and phones were completely hacked and compromised by two viruses - I had to seriously consider the integrity of the files that were uploaded and decided not to access them for the sake of my own security, identity, and digital safety. If you have ever been hacked or a victim of identity theft - you would probably do the same.

So in conclusion - you can see that there still has not be any satisfaction to this matter and Mr. Wesley willfully omitted important facts around this situation. To not belabour this further as I've already wasted an incredible amount of time with RoboLizard - I can consider this matter closed - but NOT settled until I receive a check for the full amount.

Unfair Complaint -- Should Be Removed

AUTHOR: Charles Wesley - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, July 29, 2014
In October 2013, Thomas asked me to assist him in working through a backlog of projects he had involved himself in.  One of the projects was a joint venture with Chris Kern.  Once I understood the requirements of the project, I contacted Chris and asked him for a copy of the Joint Venture Agreement.  He replied, in writing, that there was no Agreement; which was of some concern given the magnitude of work for RoboLizard.  The scope of work that Thomas had agreed to was $30K in size, and he had already incurred $1,500 in out-of-pocket costs.

In return for this $30K of work, the venture would pay RoboLizard 10% of venture Profits (if any).  So, to recap...  Chris put $1,500 into the venture and RoboLizard put $1,500 into the venture.  Then, RoboLizard was to continue to spend another $28,500 and hope that at some point the venture (which was completely controlled by Chris) would generate $300,000 of profits so that RoboLizard could recover its investment.  Bear in mind that, with no Agreement in place, the term "profit" was undefined.  In every respect, this was a no-win situation for RoboLizard.

Upon learning this, I advised Thomas to contact Chris and notify him that RoboLizard was terminating its participation in this venture; which Thomas did.  To be clear...  this was not a "client" relationship with Chris Kern.  It was a joint venture which was completely controlled by Chris.  One that, to RoboLizard's detriment, was very poorly defined and structured.  In closing the relationship, RoboLizard conveyed all of the assets that it had produced for the venture to Chris.

As you may have already concluded, it was inappropriate to post this matter on Ripoff Report.  If you have any concerns about working with RoboLizard, please contact me at 480-842-7022 and I will be more than happy to address them.

Rebuttal From Robolizard/Thomas Not Accurate

AUTHOR: Truth - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, May 27, 2014

The rebuttal provided by Thomas (Stinson) Kane is not accurate relative to the reality of this situation. His claims of what he "provided" are again, false.

Out of the things he listed that he provided per his work - we never saw it, nor received any files. Here are the facts surrounding this RipoffReport Rebuttal:

1) News Website - no development work or a completed website was ever provided that we know of. If he did the work - it never made it over to us..

2) Keyword list - again - he may have generated a keyword list to target, however, he never supplied said list to us.

3) Remarketing campaign. Yes - he actually did set this up - however, it was never started or ran. In addition - when I hired somebody else to continue this project, we quickly found out that Google blocked the remarketing campaign since it did not abide to Google's terms of service. The campaign had to be redone and resubmitted for review before it ran (which we had to pay for).

4) Premium ad designs - yes he did create a couple ads (like 3 ads), however, they were all seasonal and are not usable 10 months out of the year..

5) SEO for 20 Products - really?! Never saw it, never received it, work never done..

6) PPC campaign - never saw it, never received it, work never done.

Regardless of what Thomas has done with his special advisor, Wesley, they still have not cured or corrected this situation. In phone calls with Wesley and emails with Thomas - they both made the representations to us, multiple times, that they would pay us back the $1,000. Well, to this day, several months after having this correspondence with them, we still have not received a dime from Thomas or Robolizard.

It has become quite obvious that what Thomas/Robolizard says they're going to do versus what they actually do is two very different things, and at your expense. I continue to not be able to trust these people given the facts and circumstances around this situation and have to advise consumers to use extreme caution in doing business with them.

I Was Not Able To Front The Investment

AUTHOR: Thomas - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, May 27, 2014

There was no fraud, the work we did for this shared project was very good.

I hired a senior business intelligence advisor, Chuck Wesley. He helped organize my suddenly over-flooded SEO Company and with this particular agreement, discovered the investment amount on my part for this project would be $30,000 over two years. At 10% profit to Chris's 90%, this was not feasible and we had to cancel with him, sending him all the files and information we had created for the project to keep.

  1. He paid $1000, he got back over $3000 worth of work and gets to stay at 100% profit of the project, I lost all
  2. Chris gave $1000 as a good faith payment on a 2 year 90/10 profit split project and $500 towards the PPC campaign.
  3. I put $1500 of my own towards design, PPC & development costs

He Received...

- A new industry news website for google ranking designed
- Remarketing Campaign
- Remarketing premium ad designs (2 sets, one seasonal)
- SEO for 20 products
- In depth keyword research & keyword list
- A PPC campaign for over 500 products

Our company does great work, we don't cheat people. We often take deals at too low of a price just to help people succeed.

To make sure we avoided making anyone feel like Chris did, over the next 3 months, Chuck, our contracted business intelligence advisor, organized, set up & taught company best practices on scoping work, writing proposals/contracts, keeping customers informed and choosing good business partners.

I am sorry this happened with Chris Kern, the mistake was mine for not knowing how to properly scope the project and write the contract so that it was fair.

His Comments On My Name:
I changed my name for very personal reasons, and it's public knowledge, my signature is Thomas (Stinson) Kane, there is no 'sneakyness', that is completely irrelevent.
