I hired Jesus Rodriguez Sr. with Rodriguez Remodeling and House Leveling in April 2016 to complete a rehab project. The total estimated cost was $22,195, I wrote the first check for $10,000 that sae day to start the project. He stated that the project should be finsished by May 16, 2016. During the project i spoke with the construction foreman, Jesse Rodriguez Jr. (his son) who suggested soe upgrades to the property which i agreed verbally. Over the next few days Jesse Rodriguez Sr. called and stated he needed a draw to keep the project going. I wrote a second check for $5,000 on the 20th of April. April 27, 2016 Jesse Rodriguez Sr. requested extra money for the upgrades I discussed with Jesse Rodriguez Jr. He was not present for the discussion but stated he needed $10,750. He did not give me an estimate for the upgrades, but told me he needed the money or he would not be able to continue the project. I advised Jesse Rodrioguez Jr. his father never outlined the upgrades with any type of paper work to justify the price he was asking. Jesse Sr. became highly emontional and upset stating I didn't have the money to pay him. I told him I would meet with him the next day on April 28 to discuss the price. I agreed on the price, but after having a problem to him getting payment upon his request he slowed the work on the property. After the deadline for the completion of the work had expired, I called Jesse Jr. who stated his father told him to work on other projects and not to complete the work on my property. At this time I have already paid Jesse Rodriguez Sr. $25,750. They have refused, disappeared and  have not completed the work I paid for and have a signed contract. Since then I have been investigating this company myself and found out that they have been pulling this same scheme for years throughout the greater Houston area. The BBB have been looking for them along with other victims the have scammed. This is a father and son DUO and they jump for one location to the next, along with changing the company name to keep this scheme going. PLEASE BEWARE DON't DO BUSNIESS with this company or people.
