I purchased his Final Fat Loss system and the "bonus" Final Fat Loss Overdrive and Nutrition Guide package. I used PayPal.

Upon receiving and going through the product (electronic download), I was disappointed to find that it contained nothing I did not already know.

Some of the "revelations" in his product include: excess cortisol contributes to belly fat (which one counters by including training that increases lactic acid in the body to increase GH release); insulin resistance contributes to fat accumulation in the lower back and love handles (which one counters by increasing dynamic training to raise IGF-1).

The rest of the material include a series of complexes which anyone can easily find off google, youtube, etc.

Why did I purchase this, you ask? Well, the author contributes a good webzine (free) called t-muscle. He was also recommended by a highly respected trainer, Eric Cressey.

I was also impressed by the fact that he has a 100 percent, no questions-asked refund policy for the customer.

Well, after about a day of going through the materials, I knew I wasted $87 and $27 (for the overdrive and nutrition packet).

I contacted the seller via email. Several times.

No response.

I then filed a dispute with PayPal. After a few weeks they told me there's nothing they can do since the product is an electronic download (they therefore cannot verify the quality). I called PayPal and asked them to simply visit the seller's website and check his guarantee. The customer service rep gave me some canned response on why she couldn't. Riiiiiight.

In my disgust, I had the PayPal account closed immediately.

I then went to www.romanfitnesssystems.com and clicked on the "contact" link. I put in my name, contact info, and one final request for a refund.

When I clicked "submit" the page just looped back and returned back to a BLANK contact screen. After several tries of populating the necessary info and having the page loop back upon clicking "submit" I gave up.

In all fairness, maybe the website currently has bugs.

Regardless, I wanted to voice my grievance until the seller, John Romaniello, or one of his employees honors his full refund guarantee.

I GOT A 100% NO-QUESTIONS-ASKED REFUND

AUTHOR: Marlene H. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, April 11, 2011

I also purchased this system in an e-book, and was disappointed when I realized it was not  appropriate FOR ME, as you need to lift heavy weights and I have joint problems.

It's true that when I went through "ClickBank"--the vendor who processes purchases and refunds for Roman Fitness, I did not get a refund.  And when I tried again, the ticket was closed without comment.

It's also true that when I used the "contact" page on www.romanfitnesssystems.com, it just went back to normal and gave me no feedback, BUT I DID GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL IMMEDIATELY.  It was obviously computer-generated, but the same day I received another email requesting my order number so a refund could be issued.  That was on a Friday, and the refund was issued on Monday evening.  Which, discounting the weekend, is the very next day.

I can't say whether things have changed, or the whether the previous Ripoff reporter just encountered a glitch in the system, but my refund was processed as promised.  My only complaint is against "ClickBank" for failing to process correctly my refund request, and I hope that Roman Fitness resolves that issue so future customers don't have the same frustration.
