We purchased from the Ron Marhofer used auto mall. We purchased 2 cars from this location. The first vehicle we purchased was missing a part. We were given the impression that it was put through a strict inspection, and that it passed.
Twenty five days later I was having my oil changed and I was told that it was missing the cap to one of my parts. This was an obvious part and I was confused how an inspection that was done so well could have missed this detail. I asked for the part to be replaced by the company and they did so with no hesitation.
About 6 months later we purchased another used vehicle from this company. We have had the car for 28 days when it began to act up. This caused us to be concerned and we had the nearest shop check it out. The shop told us that the dealership had obviously not changed the oil before or during the inspection of the vehicle, and they also told us that the engine was completely shot.
Marhofer had us tow the car to their shop (75.00) on our own penny so that they could get a second opinion. Once at the shop we were told that it does appear that the engine was shot. I was upset and voiced my complaint that the car had not even been owned 30 days, or even driven 1000 miles. They calmly replied well once you drive off the lot if your car breaks in half you have 2 halves of a car.
We got taken for all we are worth, and now we are out 4000 dollars.Dont deal with Marhofer, they are not honest or fair. They advertise that no one wants a junker, but we sure got one.

Upon receiving a message from Mr. Ron Marhofer (Owner) I contacted him. He told me that he was disappointed and that the way the dealership has been portrayed is not the actual way they do business. He offered me a refund check, and we have accepted. Mr. Marhofer was quick to apologize for the incident and very helpful as well as prompt with what he said he was going to do. Thank you Mr. Marhofer for treating us with respect in a tough situation.

Did it come with a written warranty...or AS-IS?
It may be, you got what you paid for.
"They advertise that no one wants a junker, but we sure got one."
If they had just advertised that they don't SELL junkers, you might have had them.
Sorry for your problems, though.
