RON LEE SCAMMED US!

Ron Lee friended me on FaceBook 3 years and began develop what I thought was a friendship.  We were both involved in the same MLM company at the time we he first friended me and we had many of the same friends.  As time past, Ron would tell me of the big money he would make in construction restoration work and doing these raw metal deals.  He would tell me that he had a guy that would gather these raw materials and then they would smelt them down to purify the metals and receive huge returns.

In November of 2013 he told me of one of these deals and ask if I would put in $30,000 for a return of $75,000.  I said I would think about and as the days past, he seemed to get upset when I dragged my feet and then once I said no, he got really upset.  I never did the deal then.  When I asked to see a paper trial he said he didn't have any because it was always cash.

Shortly after this he told me he was buying 4 million dollar home, showed me a video of the listing and of course invited to his house warming party.  This was all a ploy to get me to trust him even more, so that I would let down my guard.  This purchase went on for 2 months with him  finally saying he was backing out Of the deal.

in Febuary, Ron came to me with one of those metal deals, this one was 4 Truck loads of raw lead to be trucked from Boulder Nevada, to Moreno Valley Ca, to be smelted down.  He asked for $25,000 in return he would give me back $50,000.  After a few weeks I agreed,and on the 24th he drove out from Az to meet me in Lake Elsinore Ca.  He wrote me a promise to pay note and spelled out the deal,and also wrote that if something happened to the deal, he would at least return my initial investment.  He also said it would only take 3 weeks tops to get me my money, so I gave him $25,000 in cash.  

After 6 weeks had past, with one excuse after another, I started suspecting that I had been taken.  So when I asked for the information of the person who was in charge of smeltIng down this lead, he got very defensive and refused to give me any contact info.  Now for sure I knew I had been taken.  Even though I felt this, I continued to play along in hopes of me getting my money.  On no less than 9 occasions he said that he wired me the money. But could never produce a confirmation number for me on the wire.  On April 28th I had my attorney send Ron and Liz Lee a demand letter to pay.  As expected, he gave my attorney the rum around for 5 days, until my attorney suggested I sue him.

I have since found out that Ron Lee has spent time in prison for Fraud, and has scammed others.  I have decided not to sue him as attorney cost would not get my money back as I would have to wait in line behind others.  I have posted my dealings on Facebook with Ron Lee and since then others have come forward to tell me that he had asked them for money with similar stories.  Ron has since taken down his Facebook page and seems to be in hiding.  I heard that he is moving to Stuart or Riverdale Fl, as his current house has been foreclosed on 2 months ag.

This notice is really to make others aware of this person and his tactics as I do not believe I will ever see my money, but Ron will surface again and try to rip someone else off.
