Roommates.com ripoff, wasted my time, provided virtually nothing, refuses to respond to E-mails Internet

I have 2 complaints about roommates.com:

(1) They continually waste my time by sending me "matches" that are NOT matches. They've sent me nearly 200, only 1 of which was a TRUE match. Early on I E-mailed them requesting that they only send me true matches, but they ignored my request. At least matt@roommates.com responded confirming that I had no matches, but they have continued sending me these non-matches anyway.

(2) On the 1 match that I did receive - JulietN on July 4 - they have done even worse. Obviously, since it was a TRUE match - my one and only - I was very interested in securing the apartment - in this case, a room. You see, I stated clearly in my profile that my rental requirements were $200 per month or less, so I knew I'd be lucky to get any true matches.

So when I heard from JulietN I was very excited. This was an opportunity I didn't want to pass up. So I responded immediately. A few days went by without a response, so I sent another message. When I still didn't get a response, I began to suspect that JulietN wasn't receiving my messages.

So I E-mailed roommates.com and asked them to check it out. They did not respond. I have E-mailed 4 times now over the past 2 weeks. They still have not responded. This is totally unacceptable! Their stated business objective is to find me an apartment/room. They have totally failed.

Now that 2 weeks have passed, they've probably caused me to miss out on this 1 opportunity. I am very upset. They have totally wasted my time, and provided me with absolutely nothing. I strongly recommend that you NOT do business with this company.
