round rock hyundai round rock honda screwed me for no reason -- or maybe they were trying to hide something round rock, Texas

i want you to know that the following experience is 100% true. i own a number of real estate business in the austin area and would never jeopardize my reputation with an exagerated review.

i only had 1 warranty claim. well within the warranty period. my steering wheel was disintegrating into sand-like particles. i googled this problem and found 1000's of reported cases. ALL covered by the warranty. i called hyundai customer service about the problem and was told it certainly was covered by the warranty. and that all i had to do was go to the dealership.
i pulled into the Round Rock Hyundai service entrance. explained my problem. and the service manager started walking over to me and my vehicle. he stopped about 20 feet from the fron tof my vehicle and stood up on his tip toes as if to get a better look. shook his head and said it was not covered!! HE NEVER came any closer!! then he walked back inside. i was told that was it. nada!! so i called hyundai customer service again. they told me that the service manager had entered my claim as DENIED! AND (here is the best part). the regional service manager had agreed that it was not coverrd! this guy had NEVER even looked at my vehicle!!

i called a couple of times to speak with someone at hyundai customer service. and was told that there was nothing they could do.

WELL there certainly is something i can do. and i have done it and will continue to do it every chance i get. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH these guys in RR. toyota.. hyundai or honda.. i am certainly 1 step closer to never buying a hyundai again (i have refered 5 purchasers to other hyundai dealers--NEVER round rock hyundai - classic automotive group.)
