I took my car in because a light was coming on inside the vechicle on monday, feb.10,2003. I was told by the service department it would be looked at by tuesday, feb.11,2003.

Today is feb.12 and no one called so, my daughter called and ask aboutit. First they had a hard time locating my vechicle and secondly had her on hold for several minutes. They stated my car will not be looked at until Feb.18,2003.

#5 Consumer Suggestion

The Great Thorn called this dealer.

AUTHOR: The Great Thorn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 13, 2003

I called this dealership and talked to the service advisor that is taking care of the repair of your truck Melvin W.

I do not know if you have had your truck in before for the same kind of trouble or not, But they have told me that the truck is out of warranty coverage. They have worked it out with Ford Motor company.

The bill is going to be just over $1800. And you will only have to pay 20% of that bill. I think it will come to just over $360. I think that is a small price to pay for a Ford dealer to rebuild your tranny.

I do not know the complete past troubles of your truck. If you have had this truck in at their service in the past for the same trouble and they did nothing, well that's a different story.

By the way Melvin they are giving you a loaner car while your truck is being repaired.

I am not sure how much I have helped here, I hope that I have.

Melvin would you like "The Great Thorn" to call your dealer? I am willing!

AUTHOR: The Great Thorn - (U.S.A.)

Melvin I call myself "The Great Thorn" because I hope I am becomming on for car dealers that it.

For such a long time car dealers and makers I might add have been ripping off car buying consumers for way TOO long.

Melvin let me know if you want The Great Thorn to call this car dealer and ask a few question on your behalf.

It only takes a few seconds for them to put someone on your car to help you get back on the road, or maybe they are trying to make a big project out of this to see how much money they can PUMP OUT of you.

If I call them, I am sure they will want to speed things up for you.
