I must refer to another related report http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/346/RipOff0346681.htm which is the same company and very similar circumstances where we were met at teh hotel on arrival and steered to the Concierge dek. The Concierge is the front for the Time Share people and advise of the great discounts and services available. The catch, you must sit for 90 mins with the Time Share folk to get the discounts. We were advised of the great discounts available for attractions and services such as hire cars, tours, events, etc. The 90 mins all up took around half a day but we did not sign-up and were provided discount vouchers. However, the promised $60 discount on any one voucher was not provided. Several days of promises turned to outright lies and they would not honour their promises and became rather rude (the Concierge people). During the '90 min' chat, we were advised that Mexico has legal protection and agencies that cover time share that we could approach if there was nay problems. I would like to contact these departments if anyone can provide the details. These people were very pushy, shady and in teh end after not signing our life savings away, became very distant and unfriendly. Please adoid them at all costs. We chose to ignore the vouchers and found other deals as I did not trust their affiliated groups. Unfortunately, we were extremely pleased with the hotel but it was tainted with their association and pushing us to the shady crowd....

Royal Holiday Scam

AUTHOR: Mark Miles - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, March 04, 2016

I bought a timeshare with Royal Holiday and they lied to me at everything, every time I check for travel dates are not available and it's cheaper to booked flight and hotel with Expedia. The service is really bad, I asked to speak to the manager and was told that I cannot talk to her and that I cannot cancel my membership.
Its been a nightmare for me!!! I was doing a research on internet about this fraudulent resort and how to get out of this fraud, i found this information and i want to share it with you, i hope it helps someone:
