I WAS TOLD BY JOHN NEWHAM HR DEPT OF ROYAL MYSTERY SHOPPERS THAT I WAS HIRED TO WORK AS A SHOPPER. THE FIRST PKG WAS SENT OUT TO ME VIA UPS, I RECIEVED A CHECK FOR 2000.00 AND THE LETTER TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO MY BANK, IT WAS A CASHIERS CHECK, SO I DID WHAT I WAS TOLD I CASHED IT AND TOOK IT TO THE WESTERN UNION SENT IT TO WHO THEY TOLD ME TO FILLED OUT THE PAPERWORK ON HOW THE PERSON WORKING TREATED ME, THEN LATER I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THE CHECK WAS A FORGERY, FAKE CHECK, THE NEXT DAY THEY SENT ME ANOTHER ONE AND I CALLED THE BANK IT WAS ISSUED AGAIN AND GUESS WHAT THEY SAID IT WAS A FAKE. PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT A JOB FROM THIS COMPANY, IF ANY MYSTERY SHOPPING COMPANY WANTS YOU TO SEND MONEY OF ANY KIND DO NOT DO IT.

I just wanted to let anyone know that fell for this scam like I did is that I got Royal Mystery Shopper's website shut down a couple of weeks ago after several persistent attempts to communicate with the web hosting co - freewebs.com
However, I just did some research and it looks like another company may be now hosting the site.
go to:
www.networksolutions.com and type in www.royalmysteryshopper.com
If you have been a victim of a scam like this, the next best thing is to get their website shut down to out a severe damper in their illegitimate efforts. Calling and harrassing the scam artists also lets you blow off steam.
You should also file reports with the following sites/agencies:
