Royal Prestige - Hy-Cite Liars, Thieves, CRIMINALS! Madison, Wisconsin Montana

Go ahead and congratulate me, yes, that's right, I'm getting married! Oh, and I just found out I'm going to have a baby too. Isn't that wonderful? Yes, thank you! Oh my goodness, the pots and pans I have inside my kitchen could be harmful to my baby!? The pots and pans I have in my kitchen could be harmful because teflon can cause all kinds of diseases, including Alzheimers?
Go ahead and congratulate me, I am now the proud owner of pots and pans that can save my life, and OH YES! A FREE 4 day 3 night stay at a hotel of my choice (which only costs $50.00 a day), and if I sign here I also get a FREE 6 day 5 night stay in the Bahammas (which only costs $149.00 per person, per night)
Go ahead and congratulate me, I am an idiot.

It turns out that three days is not enough time to find out how much of an idiot I really am. We purchased $1700.00 worth of Royal Prestige pots,pans, and china, from Jamie Cox, out of Montana at the Orlando Marriot in Orlando, Florida. We thought we were making an investment, we thought we were hearing the truth. We made a $650.00 deposit over the next week.

After I did some research and also talked to my OB/GYN, I was incredibly upset. Everything we had been told were lies. I didn't want to outright call Jamie a liar (I don't know why I should have worried about HIS feelings, he surely hasn't been worried about mine) so my fiance just told him we weren't happy and wanted to change our mind, this was BEFORE we had received the merchandise.

When we tried to get our money back we were informed by our distributor that we signed a contract and it would be "illegal" for him to give us back our money, and the merchandise arrived several days later.

I tried to find someone above him who could help me, and when another distributor offered to help me and questioned Jamie's practices, Jamie called me and YELLED at me.He told me that no one was able to help me and that he was CEO of his own company, which is kind of funny, I'm looking at his business card right now and it has someone else's name printed on it, scratched out with a pen, and his name written in ink above. CEO, my tookus!

Now Jamie and his finance company are trying to strong arm me, saying they are going to sue me if I don't pay. The finance company hasn't even paid Jamie yet, thank goodness. Well, that's fine if they want to sue me, in between planning a wedding, a nursery, working and running a business, I guess I'll go to court as well. Thanks for reading. PS- STAY AWAY FROM ROYAL PRESTIGE!!!!!

Royal Prestige- No longer a Royal pain in my... been given the most amazing run around stories from RP, you would not believe

Hello everyone!



Since posting my rip off report a few weeks ago, I have done TONS of research, written letters, made phone calls, and lodged complaints with several different agencies. You should try it: your local Attorney General's office, the Federal Trade Commission, and the BBB. Now, I know they say that the BBB is virtually useless, and it may be, but out of all of the agencies I contacted, I received a response the quickest. Sure, all they do is try to make contact between you and the company you have a problem with, but sometimes contact with the right person is all you are needing. If you think you need more, I suggest you find yourself an attorney with a taste for Class Action Lawsuits. I was given the impression from the Federal Trade Commission that it would take a LOT of complaints to get them involved. Hmm... that sounds like a challenge to me. Kind of like guessing how many jelly beans are in the jar, how many of us can complain enough to get the FTC to put a stop to their shenanigans? Why don't we just find out?



I have been given the most amazing run around stories from RP, you would not believe what I have been told! From what I have seen this company has really gotten it down to a fine science.



I obtained RP's attention by sending them a certified letter to their Madison Wisconsin address. If you feel like you want to try this tactic just make use of the words "class action" and "lawsuit", preferably strung together. Try to keep your letter polite, spelled and punctuated correctly. If you are using phrases made by someone else, identify that person by name and put their words in quotations. I was informed by an ex-employee that they just throw away the ones that are handwritten and "stupid looking", because they assume that people who do not know how to type or do not have an education do not pose a threat. Anyway, I received a call from main headquarters soon after I sent the letter and I have been allowed to send my merchandise back since it was unopened and unused, hopefully my money will arrive soon. I will keep you updated.



For those of you that have used the cursed pots and pans, well, best of luck to you.



Oh! And one other thing, but don't tell RP I said this, but: Call your local news station. If your local news station has a "Consumer Report" team, well, so much the better. They may not be able to get your money back, but sometimes REVENGE is even better.
