Ruben Verdugo Jr DEAD BEAT DAD, WILL NOT WORK TO AVOID CHILD SUPPORT Huntington Park California

Ruben Verdugo Jr is a deadbeat dad. I met him in the year 2000. In that time this man never admitted to me that he was married with 3 children. His story was he had 3 girls 2 by one woman and 1 by another woman and did not talk to the mothers. He said he had custody of them and his own mother helped him out.

I became pregnant after a short time with Ruben and had a son. I had my suspicions all along that he may be married however this was not confirmed until 4 months after my son was born.

I found a camping reciept for 5 in his car one day. That happened to be for the weekend that he had told me he was going fishing with his dad but in actuality he went with his wife and 3 girls.

I confronted him on this and again another lie was told to me he said yes he did have a wife but the marriage was not legal and asked me if I had heard about a priest that was performing illegal marriages on TV (it was all over the news supposedly) I asked him did his wife know this and he said she didnt speak english or watch the news she only watched spanish soap operas!

He was mad because I argued with him that I had never heard such a thing on the news. I left to cool off and when I came back he was gone and my 4 month old infant was left alone on the edge of the bed in his carseat. He left him all alone for I dont know how long, I was gone about 30 min.

To make a very long story short, I found out where his wife worked and called her and spoke to her in ENGLISH which she spoke very well. I let her know who I was and that her husband was living with me and our son much to her surprise.

He had told her he was living with a friend all this time they had been seperated because her dad had kicked him out for not having a job and not being able to support his family.

I took her to my house and called Ruben downstairs, man what a look on his face when he saw his wife standing in our living room with their wedding pictures in her hand!! So he had the nerve to get mad and her and I took off in his car.

We went to Denny's and had a soda and I told her all the lies he had told me and she told me her story. They had been married about 15yrs already. Then we went to Target and she watched my son while I ran in and got diapers and formula. Then I took her home.

Well after all this finding about each other and Ruben being busted by both of us the games started with all 3 of us. She bought a condo and moved out of her parents house because Ruben told her if she got her own place he would come back to her and behave.

That was short lived because I found out where they lived and went and got Ruben and he left with me and told his wife in front of me and his brother that he didnt want to stay with her and that he didnt love her, he loved me and wanted to be with me. So we loaded his clothes and left her crying at the door.

He filed for divorce and she was served with the papers but of course for some reason he just couldn't go through with it.

One day he took me to see my son and dropped me off he was supposed to pick me up at 4pm and he never came. Not only did he leave me stranded but he left his son crying with my 14yr old daughter and told her he had to go DJ at a party and took all his DJ equipment but left his clothes.

That was the end for me I was tired of the lies, tired of playing games and just tired of Ruben!!

I am married now and my son calls his stepfather DAD because that is the only father he knows. My husband loves him very much and would like to adopt him but it is very expensive the back child support owed to me would wonderful because we could use that to pay for the adoption.

Not only the adoption but some kind of support for my son would be great as well. He deserves the extras like joining him up for tee ball or other activities that I'm unable to afford.

Please help us in locating this individual as I've gone through the Child Support Services and Support Kids and neither one has been successful in either locating him or collecting support. He will not work because he does not want his wages garnished. He runs away from his problems and responsibilities. Someone needs to catch him so that he can own up.
