I am sorry to hear your news of this kennel,. I too have had a bad situation with Rus Pekos. I have gone through 3 of their dogs that they shipped to me over the years. And yes, all advertised on puppyfind.com. The first dog was $5500 dollars. He was found to have an eye cataract. The second dog they sent for replacement on him (which by way I had to pay the expensive ship cost) that dog was found to have elbow displaysia. The next dog they sent to me was suppose to be a top quality experienced stud dog.

Sadly upon having the dog here in the US, and examanied by our vet. His sperm count was null. No live sperm. This dog was very expensive and a substantial amount of money. So we are very disappointed at this time. Not only does the dog not breed naturally (as we were told he did), the dog came to us in poor condition for what they claimed to be a top champion dog. He was thin, poor coat, and sent to us diry and ungroomed. He had dirty, smelly ears, and a ear infection as well. He had light green discharge dripping from his p***s. When I question the kennel about it, and advised I was taking him to the vet for a check. Rus Pekos (Elena) said "why" what for, there is nothing wrong with the dog, he is healthy. For this I thought she was unprofessional for not wanting the dog to be checked. Upon the vet exam, he was treated with antibiotics. I also had purchased a adult female from them, and she was found to have the most serious ear infection in both ears. A infection that my vet never saw so severe in her years of practice. Months of treatment to finally clear her ears. She as well had parasites and was dirty upon arriving. We also have a 1 yr old female here with a grade 3 heart murmur. This female is out of a pregnant female dog that a US kennel (and I won't mention names) imported in pregnant by Rus Pekos which was bred to a stud dog they use in Russia called Bunjee Jumping Of The Famous Family. After clearly informing the Rus Pekos kennel of this serious heart murmur, they still continue to use that stud dog. They say its a "fluke" thing. They also admist they breed in Russia with bad elbows.

Yes, I agree that they are brokers who only do this for the money. Being the dogs came to us in such poor condition, we know first hand. Its clear to see they do not care properly for the dogs while in their care. But rather the money was most important. Now we sit with a what is suppose to be a quality champion experienced stud dog that will not produce puppies, does not breed naturally, and has null semem count. And after advising Rus Pekos kennel of this matter, they use every excuse they can to blame us. They have even called us an illerate factory owner. Factory ? Really ? Is this what they consider out there as what we call a "kennel", or breeder ? Strange.....They keep saying we do not know how to breed, and that's why the so called experienced stud dog won't breed. Really Rus Pekos ?? Cant you come up with something a bit more better than that. If a stud dog is an experienced "natural breeder", any idiot can get the dog bred. The male will know what to do on there own. Just more lies, more excuses. They do not want to face the fact that we do indeed have all vet documentation as proof of everything we have advised them. From serious ear infections, to parasites, and null semen count. Yet they do not wish to offer any help. So yes, id have to agree that this kennel is brokering and they do have ill dogs. I would not reccomend using this kennel. There are many other kennels abroad to obtain nice quality European dogs. I have also been contacted by breeders in the US who have purchased dogs from Rus Pekos with complaints that once an OFA hip x-ray was submitted here in the US, the dog was found to have either "fair" hips, or displastic, after Rus Pekos claimed them to have "excellent" hip scores. One female pregnant dog that was sold to a US breeder by Rus Pekos arrived very sick. Barely had the litter then developed mastitis. And had to be spayed thereafter. Again, no recourse by the kennel. Every dog we have owned from this kennel had issues. I would not recommend using this kennel. Look elsewhere. And to the author, I am sorry for your experience. We know how you feel. RED FLAG to Rus Pekos and their high dollar dogs. Please do your homework on these brokers. I would hate to see another family in the US hand them over such high dollar and hard earned money only to have poor quality junk when you expect quality.
