To rip off report

I went to Rusnak Chrysler to buy a car om March 5, 2005. I saw the 300 model touring class and I liked the car , and with the salesman we took it for a test drive. While we were driving the car the salesman whose name was PHILLIP CHOW. He stated thet he has to disclose all the details about the car, that this car has been painted, and I asked him what had been painted? And Phillip replied that only the panels had been repainted, I got confused for a second and asked him do you mean the whole car has been repainted? He saied no, no sir, just the panels are repainded and he added I will show you the papers when we get back to dealer.

At the dealer he saked me if I liked the car? I told him yes, I would like to buy it and lest negotiate on the pricing and I asked him to show me the documents about the car beaing repainted. He went and got the paperwork and came back. He showed me in the document that said thet only the panels were repainted, and he said let me teel you why the panels were repainted, he explained that the car was shipped to California and during the shipment had been anticipated a hailstorm, and for that reason the car had to be sent back to manufacturing to have only the panels repainted, and I asked him do you mean by only the panels? He replied just the sides not the toy, not the hood, just the sidesof the car. Since I was looking for this particular color I told him I've been looking for this color all over the U.S. for the past three months and only this dealer in the U.S. did posses two cars in this particulae color that I been looking for. This conversatin was taking place in front of my wife and my brother's presence in other words they were at the dealer with me.

Phillip the salesman, he added that since this car had been back and forth from the manufacturer and had only 8 miles on it, but still they had to sell this car as used, but the warranty wouls apply as if it was new car. My wife and I liked the car and clsed the deal with $34,800+ and took the car home.

The next day I noticed that the rubber part on the windshiel was coming off. I called the salesman Phillip and informed him of ths situatin. He toed me to bring the car back since they were going to take off the fancy rims and put the original rims on it, he said he would have this additional problem taken care of as well.

I asked him how long this whole service will take? HE REPLIED ONLY A COUPLE HOURS. Unfortunatly that was not true. The car was remained at the deler service more than three days just to swapp the wheel and repace the rubber things. So i called the service department the next day. I spoke with service manger whose name was JOHN FARR, i asked if the car was ready? he said no , I asked why it takes so long to exchang the wheels, and fix the rubber things, that they were doing updates with the car. I ASKED "UP DATES", THE CAR HAS ONLY 100 OR SO MILES. I sasied ok , when will the car be ready in 2 more days. John called me two days later on 03/18/05 and imformed me the car was ready.

I went in the morning on 03/19/05 to pickup the car, they only repaced the wheels and did not repair the rubber,and another called bezel, they toed me they were ordring them. I tol him all this time the car has just been sitting here? He said I guess.

So I took the car back fromt the dealer while they were going to order the parts. In a few days I noticed that the pasanger door switch was coming off also. Since i noticed thse problems I decided to take the car for inspection, I took the car to two different body shops and they inspect the car. In both shops they did inform me that the front passenger seat had hole in it, the ROOF MOLDINGS were coming out and they told me the whole car has been REPAINTED, NOT JUST THE SIDE PANELS, THE ROOF,THE HOOD , THE TRUNK,and front right fender color was badd and the roof was two difrent colors.

I called on 03/29/2005 Phillip, asked him why is it that you never told me the truth about the car being completely repainted? He replied SIR I did tell you that the whole car had been repainted.I told him that my wife and my brother were present during that conversation. MR. Phillip didn't want to talk to me any longer about this. He saied you need to talk to my GSM. MANAGER HIS NAME IS BARRY JESHURIO, and hug up the phone on me. I called back and asked to speck to Berry, BERRY all he dit was that "we are not going to do anything about this",I was madd and upset. I took the car back the very next morning on
03/30/05, I spoke to JOHN ,I mentiond all about the car, he repied to me that they have to take the car back and refund my money back to me. I waited an hour+ to talk to MR.Barry even though he was right in front of me in his office. Upon entering his office his demeanor was I have nothing to tell you SIR about your car, you purchased the car as is and you have a nice day. I told him that his demeanor was eliciting his characterisic which he was being very ineffective and incompetent. He said if you don.t leave my office I will call the police on you, I REPLIED TO HIM BY TELLING HIM I WAS HERE TO SOLVE THE SITUATION and I'm looking for some answers,and told him I wasn't here to argue, but somehow he ended up calling the police on me ,my wife,my brother anyway. All this took place on march 30,2005.

The next day I receved a phone call from the general manager his name was ANDREW ARIZMENDI, I guess he was informed that I had called the CHRYSLER corporation in Detroit, they informed me that the dealer was responsible and they shoul have explained to me in full detail before selling me the car, I replied that to Andrew that his salesman was a liar,his GSM was totally the most stupid person I have ever met in my life, and I told him this was totally unethical and I did not deserve to be humiliated with my $35,000 purchase. There are other factors to be concerned of, such as the waranty did not match the date of my purchase and moore.

MY car has been at the dealer since 03/30/05, for them to fix my concerned areas JOHN FARR CALED ME ON 04/22/05, and informed me that the car has been repaired. I went with the man that had inspected the car with me on 04/23/05, to pick up the car. When they pulled up the car, the car was all dusty and looked like as if it was parked on some corner and never was toched. The car is steel there right now, rusnak never did any of the repair att all , i need to know if there is some one that can help me all I say is true, THANK YOU.

Abraham: Think Man! You have been robbed of $35,000 dollars as sure as if a gun was put to your head. DO NOT let these crooks get away with this. They will ruin your credit and your life if they can. GET A LAWYER,NOW!! before it is too late. If they know you mean business they will be glad to give you another car. If a lawyer costs you, even $2000 dollars, you are still way ahead of the game. Right now you have a damaged vehicle that will be worthless down the road. If you trade it in at a reputbale dealer and there is trouble HIS ATTORNEY will be after YOU in a flash.

Chrysler allows cars damaged in transit to be repaired and sold by there dealers, rather than have them taken back to the factory. Some dealers send these cars to body shops that are incompetent and, as you have seen, the results are very bad for any buyer. I have been offered these cars by Chrysler dealers who are HONEST but I didn't want to pay for a new car and have damage from the start. They did not even take much money off the price for you. I bought a 300C, loaded up for $33,000 dollars with the Hemi V8, and you paid more for a 6 cylinder, so you got ripped on the price also. The repainted Chrysler I was looking at was a convertible with a sticker of $32, 000 and had a replaced and painted front bumper cover. For this damage they offered me the car for $27,000, with full factory warranty.

For them to call the cops on you, your wife, and brother shows just how low they are. You may be able to get help from the people who oversee and license car dealers. Here in PA the State police have a trooper in each barracks whose job it is to make sure dealers operate honestly. Try to find that individual in your area and show him everything that has happened. He can be a BIG help to you in this matter.

Please get an attorney and fight back. I am a retired car dealer myself and I hate to see people victimized by crooked dealerships.
