I received postcards back in October of 2012  stating that I qualified to receive a payment from the Independent Foreclosure Review and The National Mortgage Settlement. I filled out all the necessary information asked of me, and even sent the info back by signature confirmation mail. With the IFR...I did receive a small check of 500.00 dollars in April 2013. After a few weeks another postcard and letter came in the mail proclaiming that I will be receiving a check from the NMS...possibly for over 840.00, but definitely not less than that said amount. The checks were alledgedly scheduled to go out in June 10, 2013. By then the amount was now stated for 1,484.00. I patiently waited to see if anything would show up in the mail. June, July, August and September zipped by. I am writing this, and it's now October 2013! I have made 16 customer service phone calls since June. I repeatedly get the run around and each representative seems to be reading a formatted "script"! I have continously been asked for more personal information to confirm my identity. I have complied and sent the requested info through signature confirmation mail also. I was told that they needed income tax info, social security, driver's license, address verication etc. and I did provide all this to prove my identity. The last few phone calls I made, customer reps did confirm that they have ALL my updated information and everything is in order and matches up...yet they cannot give me a legit reason WHY I have not been cut my check! I have contacted the BBB, the AG here in California and the Post Master General for possible mail fraud. I do qualify for a payment and have a claim # issued by the NMS Administrator. NO ONE is offering any reasons or information on why Rust Consulting is holding on to this money. (I am NOT the only victim by far! There are thousands of us, still waiting! Search the web...) My biggest concern is identity theft...this company Rust Consulting, has just way too much personal info on me floating around in MN! I live in So Cal, with only my 3 kids. My credit score has already been sandblasted by a foreclosure, I need to salvage what little I have left of it! Bad enough Banksters of America gave it to me right up the a-hole, but now, what little money I may be entitled to, is being withheld without just cause. Money that can be used to feed my kids, or get them a few pieces of clothing at the Goodwill. As with many of us, foreclosure= homelessness. Out on the streets with 3 kids in tow. So what little money any where, or any how it would come my way...is greatly needed.
