WARNING - SCAM ARTIST

Please! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! My wife had some fairly significant body damage to the front of her car. Ryan Bertel (the owner) from RJ DentPro came to our house to view the damage. Later that day he gave us a price and asked for a deposit for parts to be sent by Zelle to his name, not the business. We sent him $1,450 and we scheduled the service at our house on April 18, 2022. 

On that morning, Ryan called my wife to confirm his worker would finish the repairs that day and asked for the remainder of the payment. He asked to have $1,060 sent to him by Zelle, but to Smart Scratch Pro LLC. Smart Scratch Pro is suspended by the Franchise Tax Bureau and has been inactive since 2/1/2021. Nobody showed up and it was several days before we could get a response. 

Since then we have had multiple appointments scheduled, then rescheduled, many where nobody showed up. Then Ryan claimed his mother had passed and he was out of town. I offered respect and patience. When he finally got back, he came to my house and told me several parts were back ordered and he did not have them yet. But he was ready to do all the repairs on April 18? When he didn't have the parts? What a SCAM!!! He also told me he would have to take the car for two days. 

Then we have received texts saying the date the parts should arrive kept getting pushed back. When I asked after the last date passed, I got a response that Ryan had limited service and may not be able to respond. He claimed he was in Hawaii, on the date we were supposed to have the work done. I told him I was done with the run around and that I was going to contact the sheriff to file fraud charges. He immediately offered to refund the money, but of course he could only send $1,500. 

Read the Yelp reviews for all the different company names he uses. Look at the BBB rating of F for all the different company names he uses. Look up all the lawsuits filed against Ryan Bertel and all of his company names. This guy is a shark and he will take your money and run! He returned the remainder of the money today after I talked to a Sheriff's detective and was ready to press charges.
