You won't believe what we have uncovered. Another structural engineering firm that discriminates against the long term unemployed. That firm is S.A. Miro, Inc., under the leadership of founder Sami Miro, COO Brad Buhler, President Dave Lewis, Associate Jason Carr, Associate Principal Joe Rapp, Associate Principal John Karlberg, and Managing
Director Milt Lancer.  It has attracted many of the media outles in the Denver area.

S.A. Miro claims to be a highly recognized engineering/architectural firm, but what are they really recognized for? Based on the encounters of one prospective employee, they are recognized as members of the I Can't Read program! S.A. Miro, Inc., is NOT the Equal Opportunity Firm that they claim to be. In fact, they have violated the Federal
Deceptive Practices Act because they refuse to interview prospective applicants who are very qualified in saving their clients millions of dollars.

Let us go over one of the candidates that S.A. Miro refused to even consider. Brad Buhler told this person that the they were not qualified for the job at all even though they mentioned it in their cover letter in the first paragraph.

This person has Revit experience yet S.A. Miro, Inc., will not consider them.

This person has an MS in Structural Engineering yet S.A. Miro, Inc., will not consider them.

This person has 13 years of experience, which is much more than 6 years, yet S.A. Miro, Inc., will not consider them.

S.A. Miro, Inc., does not even believe in reciprocity of engineering licenses from other states to Colorado in states such as California and New York, for example!

This person has experience supervising EITs and working with clients saving them over $100 million and more during their career, yet S.A. Miro, Inc., will not hire them. Based on our encounters, it makes us believe they want to hire someone who is submissive and paid as low as possible. Of course, since they never return calls or emails to
prospective employers, this is most likely true! The reason we believe they refuse to hire good people is because they don't want to look like they are standing still, right, Brad Buhler?

There's a major problem in their hiring practices. One of their prospective employees has been out of work for over a year through no fault of their own through the Great Recession. They saved their clients over $100 million, yet S.A. Miro, Inc., will not hire them. Guess S.A. Miro, Inc., believes in that crazy myth that the longer a person is unemployed, the less valuable their skills are to a potential employer. This is so wrong and proven false by several studies.
Remember, folks, you can't spell I AM SO MoroNIC! with S.A. Miro, Inc.!

Even worse, they would rather believe the work of an unethical employer without evidence than one who had actual evidence of their accomplishments. Guess S.A. Miro, Inc., has greater odds of hiring rapists and child molesters than actual real bona-fide great structural engineers. S.A. Miro, Inc., claims they hire employees with Masters' degrees yet their research and actions are those of 7th graders like Brad Buhler telling a potential employee they were not
qualified to be a project engineer for S.A. Miro, Inc. Guess Buhler and company are members of the 4-H Club, short for Huh, Hey, Hadn't Heard of Asking for Project Samples and Independent Verification, and Heck If They Know.

Even worse, this potential employee has a long term health problem that needs to be rectified right away, yet S.A. Miro, Inc., will not hire them. Maybe S.A. Miro feels they would be an asset if they are dead, dying, or collecting government assistance! Deeply distressing, but people are getting used to S.A. Miro, Inc's, hijinks! S.A. Miro, Inc., would rather have a dead money saving employee because it interferes with their bottom line of being superior!

We have decided to do something about this. We have decided to alert architects and contractors about this firm's inability to save them money compliments of S.A. Miro, Inc. They can use this information to sue S.A. Miro's insurance company. As a result, the architect and contractor get off Scott-free while S.A. Miro, Inc., gets hit in the wallet! Contractors love our ideas because they actually work in saving them money! You can thank founder Sami Miro, COO Brad Buhler, President Dave Lewis, Associate Jason Carr, Associate Principal Joe Rapp, Associate Principal John Karlberg, and Managing Director Milt Lancer for this. These companies should ask S.A. Miro, Inc., to submit a list of their potential employees and their qualifications.  If they show a majority of employees with 8 years or less and 20 years and more, then they have a claim because against S.A. Miro, Inc.

We have even got politicians involved in banning companies such as S.A. Miro, Inc., from getting work from local, county, state, and federal governments when they perform such heinous atrocities such as discriminating against the long term unemployed in job opportunities.  One such state, California, has a law in the legislature and it's going to get passed. Also, companies that perform this type of discrimination will face extra high tax burdens. Since S.A. Miro,
Inc. is creating more unemployed, they should pay a much higher rate for what they have caused! Face it, folks, their company logo appears when someone says: Miro, Miro, on the wall, who's the worst Denver-area structural engineering firm of them all?

At S.A. Miro, Inc., they didn't invent job discrimination against the long term unemployed, they just perpetrate it! S.A. Miro, Inc., can personally apologize and hire those people that they wrongfully rejected or they can be perceived as one of Denver's worst structural engineering employers for the 21st century.

After all, the power of the purse will be the controlling factor in their destiny of being in business as a structural engineering firm. If there's a structural
