Sabre Towing service/Duffy Towing Extortion Hicksville New York

My small children and I left my husband and drove from PA to NY in our Jeep. Jeep broke down on parkway in LI NY. I called my insurance to come try to start Jeep. State Troopers arrived and told me I could not use my tow service but HAD to use Sabre/Duffy Towing. I explained I did not live locally and was going to hotel in NYC and had a 4 & 6 year old and I left my husband and he had just cut off my debit card so I had no money.

They said oh well you have to use our contracted service and we can take you to a shelter. Lol Uh No. My children are not going to a shelter because the Jeep broke down. We argued to no avail. They told me I had to ride with the tow truck company and he could drop me and the children off at the LIRR. It was 10:30 pm.by this time. You can imagine how shocking all of this was. In any case when the time came to retrieve the Jeep from this tow company my husband called and got the amount to release the vehicle to a Jeep dealership for repairs.

After being told the price my husband Western Union Ed me cash (he had cut off my card) to pay for the car and hotel. Took train and a taxi during pouring rainstorm to the tow yard with my 2 &6 year old at approx. 9pm at night. Upon arrival Sabre towing changed the fees and added $150 to the price they had given my husband earlier the same day. We argued and argued. I had to call 911. Before they accepted the price they originally said. It was scam all the way around. This all happened in 11/2017 and I still have not received my Jeep. It has been stolen by a different auto criminal and they are trying to extort us for storage fees.
