Good morning:

This company had a sales person soliciting in our community.  First off, we were interested in possible home security.  However, the individual, Robert Roach continuously was very pushy and would not take NO for an answer. I asked him how he obtained my information and he indicated from a Police Report as our sliding glass door was my husband and I continued to tell him we were not interested in the service at this time and we would let him know when we were ready and asked for his business card. 

He again was very pushy.   He was like can I come in  your house to complete this paper work.  I was like what paper work.  He indicated it was for informational purposes only and that he wanted to give me a quote etc.  I agreed to this.  However, there was NO mention at anytime of running my CREDIT report or I would have completly refused to continue on.    Again, he just kept on about the information and then going as far as wanting my mothers information or a next contact person. 

I again said why do you need all this as we are not doing anything right now.  He was said well if you provide me  your information for this quote we can set you up as soon as possible.  Again, we advised him we are not ready.  After continuous talk, we finally gave in and gave a date of 1.15.18 but told him we were still not sure.  He indicated that if we did not want to go through with the service or install, we could cancel within 3 days of 1.15.18. 

So, the next day, I received an Alert that my credit was run.  Apparently, this company takes your name and information (no social security) and can run your CREDIT without  your knowledge.  At NO time did I or my husband authorize this company to run my Credit as we were not really intersted just yet. Mind you, this is a Hard Inquiry on your credit and was not authorized at all for this company to do. .    

I caled the company 2-3 times leaving a message 1 time and then speaking to about 4 different people the other times i called only to be disconnected and then finally spoke to a Jennifer who finally sent me to a manager.  It was like a 3 ring circus and very unprofessional.  I was furious. 

I just want others to know that apparently according to their company and was relayed to me by a Manager, Brian Roberts, they can run your credit even without your social. I said this is ridiculous and I advised him I was NOT happy at all.   I am furious about this.  We are in the process of purchasing 2 vehicles and when they ran my credit it dropped my score down tremendously. 

Again, after finally speaking to the Manager with the company he indicated that I signed a form.  At NO Time did i sign anything or commit to anything.  I advised them to show me where I signed something and I will prove my signature to them.  They are SCAM and try to get you to do something you do not want to do and run your CREDIT without your knowledge or Consent!   This company flat out lied and used my personal information to run my CREDIT without my knowledge.  First off if this Robert Roach signed something on my behalf, that is forgery.  I will be filing a formal Police Report with the Hillsborough County Sherriff's office in regards to this. 

Just please be aware that if i would not have been monitoring my credit I would have never known that they ran my credit.
