Safeway (Tom Thumb) Richardson Texas Employee the unsopken truth ..No respect, threats to employees, managements head up butt

Ive never worked for a company that treated employees with such disrespect. I have been with the company for five years and never once was I told that I did a job well done. You are simply a slave for the greediest corporation in America.

This company lies to their customers on a consistant basis about products and their way of doing buisness. This company is only in the grocery buisness to make the big bucks so the big guys can shove their pockets with profits made by the hard working lower class people in this country. They dont care if you dont have enough people to do the job one person has to do when 3 people are really needed to satisfy the customers. They have so called secret shoppers (gastapo) who rate you how they are treated, what makes this a problem is they only work for the company four weeks and then terminated. Would you make a good secret shopper if you only had a week to go before they let you go? I think not. They dont want to hear regular customer comments just their hired gastapo. I keep hearing more and more complaints from our customers who have shopped with us for many years how we are slowly but surely going to hell in a basket.

When I first started working for the company it was owned by Randalls and then Safeway bought them out and now things are slowly going to shits. Customers very seldom complain about employees its everything else Safeway has implemented. Customers dont like just Safeway products, they dont like the lack of help etc. The only way to survive this company is not to take anything serious including mangement because they too dont know what the hell their doing.

I regretfully hate to write this but the truth shall prevail and I hope Safeway ends up selling this store to a company who has pride in itself for treating employees and customers with respect , most of all great products good customer service these are the things that make a company succeed not the Safeway.
