Do not fall for these scams, they are rich because they get so many unsuspecting people to fall for it. and if they think your gonna catch on they'll send you on an all expense trip to visit thousands of others just like you and reassure you youll be making 50-80k in less then 6 months with your own office.(its called protecting your investment) why would you quit after going to Aculpolco, Mexico to sit with your superiors and get drunk for free. BUT its NOT free, you've been busting a$$ for the last who knows how long and that why they say all expenses paid( youve already paid them for it)

youll know its a scam if when they ask you in for an interview and the first thing they ask is " on a scale of 1 - 10 how would you rate yourself with people?" they are makeing sure they get those cocky people , i know i said "10" and they said "ok, come in tomarro at 7:00am dressed to impress.I did and ened up going out to lake oswego for longer than i wanted to and got comfortable selling SH%T to people. the guy that was training me seemed to be a decent person, wether he was informed or not they had him hooked because he is the one they sent to MEXICO solidifieing his stay, then after all the mumbo jumbo at about 7:30 or so we got back to the office and gave me a final interview and said "welcome to the team" but ( WHERE THE HELL WAS THE W-4 ) and i didnt get anything for my walking 8 hours all day BUNNCHA BULL

SO after all that i got into my girlfrieds car and said "im hired, cool huh" she said "did you sign a W-4" i said "no but they said you wouldnt be supportive" little did i know i was halfway to being brainwashed already. I got on the net and found this sight THANK GOD i only wasted a day and a half of my life. some of us arent that lucky they will get you so locked in on the JUICE, ATTITUDE, or whatever they're calling it at the time that people will lose there friends, family , loved ones, house, car and whatever else they might have.

DO NOT WORK FOR THESE COMPANY'S UNLESS YOU ENJOY LIEING YOUR WAY THROUGH LIFE i am not that kind of person, but if you are then thats the job for you IT IS A PYRAMIDE SCHEME!!

ITS METRO - MSI NOW!!!! THEY CHANGE THE NAME TO KEEP GOING

AUTHOR: Fedup - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 05, 2007

Metro MSI:

My ex-Fiance' became employed with Metro MSI one year ago. She was promised a managers postion within 6 months of hire date. After 6 months came and went and no manager postion. She was then promised a managers position within 8 months. 8 Months came and went and still no manager position became available. Now it is comming up to one year and my fiance' puts in well over 80 hrs a week and brings home barely $350 a week on an avarage. We have had many, many arguements over this job and it eventually was the demise of our relationship. So many hours invested, while her manager recognizing that my fiance' was making alot of money for them. Management set goals for each individual, (Goals consist of making a certain amount of cash sales per day). when in actuality, its not the employees goal, but rather the manager who sets the goals in order to make money for management, leaving the one who labors broke...

It is a pyramid scam... You have to get a certain many employees to work under you for a certain period of time. This can also be seen in Amway type pyramid scams. It does not work because of the type of people the job attracts. Every now and then, Metro MSI gets a good person (like my ex-fiance') and this is how they make their money. Exploiting good intentions from good people in order to gain for themselves.

After my fiance' was employed with Metro-MSI, she had to ride with a manager to go from business to business trying to sell cheap junk that most dollar stores will never carry. While doing door to door, the managers car was broken into and my fiance' had her purse stolen... Metro-MSI didn't feel obligated to pay for this. I had to argue and fight to get only 50% back.

After approximately 8 months of being employed with Metro-MSI, my ex had to go with new applicants into the field to do sales. While she stopped to get gas, the two applicants went into her purse and stole all of her money, and the money that was collected from sales for the day. Metro-MSI made my ex, and I pay all of it back...

Please, do not be sucked in to this company... You will not progress forward in life. You can make way more money working at Mc Donalds with the hours they enforce at Metro-MSI. Metro-MSI pays commission only, so remember this when you try to sell somebody a piece of junk. They actually put you through alot of fake "positve self improvement" crap that actually blinds the employee into thinking this company cares about the employee, when in actuality all they care about is their own pockets getting fatter and fatter.

Ever seen requiem for a dream? Remember "JUICE BY SARA, JUICE BY SARA, GOOOOO SARA!!!!!" They actually say this and use "Juice" as some type of metaphore for positve affirmation... I think it is very cult like, and very scary that the woman I was with for 5 years was so easily manipulated into this crap....

Remember, if what they say is true, and thousands upon thousands of people who work for Metro-MSI are successful people, then don't you think everybody would be doing it?

CRAZY

fear

AUTHOR: Will - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 03, 2007

people fear what they do not know. america doesnt talk about alot of the problems it faces but rather gossips about what it does not know. what people don't understand about innovage or the other listed companies is that it is a great learning experience and can open your eyes to the dead ends of the traditional corporate american structure. innovage teaches you to work hard for yourself and to become self reliant. what job can a person get working for someone else that doesnt get the employer rich while leaving the employee with peanuts? innovage has changed the lives of millions of people, yes millions, and has helped countless people with building confidence and experiences they can take anywhere and everywhere. these are experiences you cant get anywhere else and they can open wide varieties of opportunity. if it is such a cult or scam then why do the employees of such companies recieve more job offers in one week than the average person does in a year? if the people working with innovage are so scandalous then why are so many employers begging them to work for their more "rightious" companies? wait let me guess they are decieving them too right? people need to wake up and look at the whole picture insead of judging a corner. innovage and its affiliates will change your life, its up to you if the experience is a negitive or a positive one.

My Input about this field..

AUTHOR: D - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, December 10, 2006

Hi, I worked in a dx max marketing company when I was in college six years ago, when I was 20. There are many positves with doing this type of work as well as the negatives. Some of the positives include learning to comminucate with people, consistancy, learning a system and executing it time in and time out, and being your own boss.

I like to compare the experience with practicing free throws on a basketball court. The more time and practice you put into it, the better results you will have. If you look at the way the system works, its wonderful for the higher ups, getting commisions off everyone in the office, as opposed to the bottom of the rung, making $9 per coupon book sold. The coupon books were $20 per unit and cost $.07 for each one. So you do the math, PROFIT!

Currently, six years later after working for one of these companies, I have opened two of my own businesses. One doing landscape design and the other a mortgage corporation. It took similiar qualities and characterists I used with dx max marketing to open my own companies. In my opinion, Unless you are the owner of one of these companies, ECONOMICALLY it is not worth the time.

All the promises that are made to you about being promoted and "moving up the ladder" when you reach a certain level is just to suck you in that much more. However, that does not mean you can not learn tools and traits you can use in the future from this line of work. If you are REALLY into this line of work, open your own company! I cant speak for every county and state, but where I live it is only $35 to obtain an occupational license. You may need a pedaler or solicoting license as well, those are pretty low cost as well. You can even start running to business out of your house.

The main key in doing this is to get the business companies around the town. By this I mean you need coupons or VIP books to sell, find out what companies would be interterested? Go talk to different companies in your area and pitch them to do business with you. Its a total win-win situation for both parties involved! The company you work the deal with can get free advertising. (Unless of course you want to charge a fee for working with you, Note: some companies may be reluctant to do so at first until they see your results)

This will bring more people to the company you are doing the package with. And its even better for you! At $.07 per unit and a $20 cost, you can make $19.93 per unit sold! IF you sell 7 units in a day, you make $139.51! Most people can live on this amount of money per day quite easily. Then you can also have people working for you. Lets say you have 5 people working under you that each average 5 units per day and they receive $15 per unit and you recieve $5. Thats an extra $125 dollars you make by managing others to do what you are doing yourself! $264.51 for a day is even better!

The reason why there is so much negativity about these types of companies is because the higher ups can be greedy and take a solid chuch of money you made while they are sitting on their a*s. If you are doing this type of work right now and enjoy it, but arent making enough cash flow, think about starting your own company doing the same thing.

Think about it. Its really no intial cost for you to do so! And if you do choose to have others working for you, be fair with what you are paying them. If its $20 a unit and your understudy is making $15 or 75 % of that he/she will be happy! Think about it, a happy worker is a hard worker, a hard worker is a huge closer, a huge closer will put more money in your pocket by selling more units, and at the same time put more money in his/her pocket as well!

Give it your all and go for it! If you work for one of these companies, and you have dedication, drive, motivation, and a tenacity to succeed, START YOUR OWN COMPANY and REALLY BE YOUR OWN BOSS. Good luck!

Nice try Jaye

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 07, 2006

Where does it say anything about Innovage before you posted? NOWHERE

Where is Jaye from Canada mentioned before you posted? NOWHERE

No one cares about who you are unless you have directly ripped them off. Your sales pitch is irrelevent to what the OP has complained about. So you either have ripped people off or are just a company lackey trying to defend meanwhile dragging another arm of a company originally complained about that no one knew into the situation.

As you said: Stop hating so much, and start learning

Don't hate people who aren't mindless drones.

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

If you are into lies & deceptions, these companies are for you!

AUTHOR: Marcel - (Canada)

POSTED: Thursday, December 07, 2006

No matter how you look at them they are all questionable in how they operate. Using psychology and mind-games in order to sell product is not a common business practice unless you have a doctorate degree and enjoy playing head-games with people. Having gone through the 'process', juice, rhino, cow, etc., I am glad I have friends with investigative senses to show me what I had stumbled upon. They make it virtually impossible to look up their companies by constantly changing their names and locations.

They try to keep you away from friends & family. They WANT us to lie to people. Some of the bell-ringers were in fact unloading their merchandise at another warehouse and coming back to re-stock in order to give the newbies the impression that they were great sellers on their way to management after only a couple of weeks. Turns out these bell-ringers are part of the scam of convincing young kids to keep going.

When I told them of my friends' trepidation about the company they wasted no time in labelling them lazy and unambitious, that they will be in the same boat as now while you rake in the money. What a joke. A week of 12+ hour days and netting less than $2 per hour was sufficient for me to start listening to my real friends, not to those selfish & greedy marketing schemers. If they are such a great company, why on earth the deceptive and untraceable ads with fake contact names they run in order to recruit? Why so many telephone numbers that have no association with the marketing company, mostly unlisted numbers with caller ID so they only answer trouble-free inquiries.

They are proud to display the Better Business Bureau's sticker in the window (probably from the former tenant) and although the Better Business Bureau have had several complaints, all we get is that Vex Marketing has not responded. I liken this to reporting a crime to the police and they tell me they cannot do anything since the criminal has not called back. So much for depending on the BBB to help. It is a sad situation where no major crime is being perpetuated and therefore of little interest to the authorities. If you still work for the company tell me this: how often have you had to change locations and company names?

had to recruit internationally since the locals began to smell the deceptions? why not explain from the start what the job entails instead of misleading and brainwashing people into these ridiculous jobs where they hire people with cars since none of the leaders or managers can afford one? is it company policy for leaders and managers to constantly bum money & cigarettes from the new guys? how many times have you been verbally and/or physically removed from businesses by their owners and told by your leader to go back anyway?

I used to consider myself intelligent. Having been lured into this scheme has made me question this belief and now I have become sceptical as never before. For this reason I shall never give up on exposing this cult of capitalist greed and deception.

Pure libel.

AUTHOR: Jaye - (Canada)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 05, 2006

I am a part of Innovage. I own my own business, and am in no way connected to other companies within the Innovage circle, I have my own Incorporation. Most of the things people say about Innovage do not apply to me, but because i have taken advantage of Innovages ability to give me great merchandise at great prices, my character is smeared by people who had bad experiences with other similar companies.

1. Before a Distributor sells a piece of merchandise it is explained to him/her that they get paid for what they sell, and that its their choice to proceed. If they chose to go forward they take an entrepeneurial leap. Theres nothing wrong with taking a risk to go into business for yourself.

2. Just because we build great relationships with our guys, people call us a cult. This is wrong. we dont worship a shrine, were like war buddies, we go through a lot together, and our experiences bring us closer, is that so wrong?

3. Everyone who gets involved has a choice. They can ask questions, they can formulate their own opinions, and they dont have to ever come back if they do not like what they see. Ask anyone who runs a business... its hard and most dont make it, but those who do are proud, and earn every single dollar. If they dont make it maybe it wasnt for them, or maybe they used the wrong approach. Either way its everyones choice to do what they want to do, and if they choose wrong why blame the person who offered them the opportunity. Take responsibility for your choices and learn from them

Stop hating so much, and start learning, that way we can all move forward.

Thats all i got, hope you can understand
Sincerely,

A GUY WHO MADE A CHOICE

Innovage or DS-MAX or whatever name they use... keep in mind what the last post said about how they interview....

i have a lot of friends that USED to work there and we're all happy now and have jobs that actually pay us...

I could write A TON more about this, so if anyone is interested, please reply and I will tell you anything you want to know........
