Salon Above, Judy & Me, 252 A Salon Left me Half bald New York New York

Towards the end of the year 2003, on November, I believe, I went to 252 A Salon to get my hair done. This hair salon located in New York City, on the upperwestside, with upperwestside kind of prices is a complete rip-OFF............

By now, it has already closed down. However, there are two sister salons still open. All operated by the same owner, who does not even know how to give a decent haircut. The sisters salons are Salon Above and Judy and Me. Unfortunately, the same unskilled employees work at each and everyone of them on different days of the week.

I went in with a nice long, full head of hair. I only requested the removal of some temporary color I had on my hair. I specifically mentioned I wanted a natural process only. The hair care expert (so called expert) promised me the product she would use was natural and that my hair would suffer no damage. However I came out half bald, and with a very short haircut. Though, I am a young woman, I looked like a boy.

I complaint to the owner of these Salons, who then offer me an appointment with him in order to fix it. I do not know what he was going to fix, there was not that much hair left, or choices for that matter. However, I went to one of his other salons, hoping he could do something. To my surprise, the owner was not only a nasty, not so helpful person, but also, a believer that he is God's gift to this world. Now, on the year 2005 I still have big bald patches on my head. My hair has never been the same it was before. Please, if you are a NYC resident, do not visit any of the three hair salons above mentioned. If you do, like me, you might regret it for a very long time.
