i had 8 boxes of balloons in my warehouse and was working a carnival over the summer with a amusement company in ohio, i mentioned to carnival owner that i had these balloons and had no use for them, he said he wanted them, so i brought the balloons the next day, i charged him half the value of the amount i paid for them, he was going to give me money amount of 400.00 instead i told him to apply the money to a game trailer he aggreed to sell me for 1000.00 he said fine, this took place in girard ohio at a church fest in june 2010 the agreement was the 400.00 was applied to balance of 1000.00 on the trailer, well and he said i could pick the trailer up that next week in june, and he would accept payments for remaining balance owed and still let me take the trailer and work it off, well every week i called him there after a different excuse popped up as to why i couldnt get the trailer, well then he stopped answering my calls and today being october 3 2010 he still wont answer my calls and i am out 400.00 and no trailer

let me tell u how the carnival works. the 20 dollars is called a draw. a draw is an advance on your pay you have coming. you get a draw every day. pay does not get handed out until AFTER the spot is over. if you don't finish the spot, you get nothing. this is to ensure that halfway through the spot you don't quit and leave a ride unattended. if you are not sure how the carnival works, don't try to work for one. period.

I am not a worker for Sam, but I do know something and it pisses me off. Not going to say who I am or how I know, but my husband worked for Sam and when we went to get his pay witch was suppost to be given on Tuesday. We went up there to help set up on Wed. and Sam told my husband he would give him his money tomorrow ( that was tuesday that he said this) so Wed. comes and he goes to set up and he called Sam and he said I'm not going to be around. So we waited and he set up, well come to find out he did show up and only gave my husband 20.00 and said come back tomorrow and I'll have it for you, well tomorrow came and guess what Sam still didn't pay him. Now it is Friday and his son is telling my husband he don't look forward to seeing his dad today. Really!!! GRRR We have kids and bills to pay, I feel that they should take it out of what ever they profited from and pay him this is BULLS**T!!
