Sanderson Farms Underweight Packages Waco, Texas

On Monday, Nov. 29, I purchased one package of Sanderson Farms chicken hearts, and one tub of Sanderson Farms chicken livers from H.E.B. in Georgetown, Texas.  While portioning out the contents of the containers for recipes using my kitchen scale, I found both packages to contain significantly less product than was marked on the label.

I placed both packages, with their total contents on my scale, and neither one weighed as much as the Net Wt. claimed on the label.  Since these were two different products in two different types of packaging, I suspect that Sanderson Farm's scales are significantly incorrect, to the deficit of the consumer.

In addition, one of the chicken livers was a sickly yellow color even though the product was well within pull date.
