My wife and I were wanting to adopt a dog from a rescue locally.  Went to the green market and saw a rescue there. We were interested in a black lab.  The interaction between the owner of this rescue was somewhat disturbing. She appeared to be preoccupied and seemed like she was not willing to give us any details on the dog.

We took the information and decided to think about it. After further discussion, we checked with our  neighbors that had just adopted from Justin Bartlett Rescue.  We told them about our experience with Sandra Dezelan.  They immediately told us to not deal with her, due to also having a bizarre ordeal with her.  They did some research and found that she has repeated lawsuits against people.

My wife confirmed these findings, since she works in a large law firm in WPB.  Sandra Dezelan even tried to sue 2 people.  Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2. WTF??  What others have reported on this site, are not lying. Our neighbors also told us, she always brings the same dog to adoption events, when the dog is not even up for adoption. WHY?

Come to find out, some say she uses the dog as a means of collecting donations.  A cash dog, perhaps?   Stay away from this eccentric lady.  We got our black lab, we named Penny, from Justin Barlett.  They were great to work with.  Sandra Dezelan, not so much.

To the person who wrote this story. Unfortunately, before you wrote this total fake story what you didnt know Dezzys Second Chance NEVER took a black lab to the Delray Green Market. A matter of fact the Delray Green Market doesnt permit any dogs over 20 lbs!! I get it either you have a personal vendetta against Sandra or Darcy Butass put you up to writing your total lie but writing a false story only hurts the dogs.
